Today on Command Your Day, we’re reminded why we pause each morning to anchor ourselves in the Word: because motivation fades, but God’s promises hold us steady. We turn to Judges 6, where the angel of the Lord calls Gideon a “mighty man of valor” even though Gideon is hiding, fearful, and feeling anything but mighty. This scripture shows us how God speaks to who we truly are, not what our circumstances suggest. Just like Gideon, God sees strength in us even when we feel small, scared, or unqualified. Today’s word invites you to rise, to step out from hiding, and to live according to what God calls you not what fear tells you.
