In a new filing in Franklin County Common Pleas Court, the attorney for former WBNS-10TV meteorologist Mike Davis makes new arguments that Davis should avoid prison in the child pornography case against him. Davis’ attorney, Terry Sherman, argues in the motion filed Friday that Davis should not be sent to prison for his conduct because he has taken responsibility for his actions and has been seeking counseling and therapy, and had no hand in the creation of the child porn. Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien has told The Dispatch that his office will seek prison time for Davis. The maximum possible sentence is 25 1/2 years.
