One quarter of the way through the regular season, Missouri football is 1-2 for the second consecutive year following a 35-3 home blowout to Purdue. Before the season, athletic director Jim Sterk said he defined progress within the football program as making a bowl game, saying six wins was "a minimum of what you would want, what our alums want."
