Moving to the city council meeting, Corbett mentions the swearing in of Brian Hemphill as the new Pendleton Fire and Ambulance Assistant Chief of Operations. Next, a change to the intergovernmental agreement with Oregon Building Codses Division, plus a lease to Umatilla County for a community garden. Schulberg talks about public hearings updating the chronic nuisance property ordinance, declaring a piece of Roy Raley Park to be surplus property so it can be transferred to the Round-Up Association to launch an improvement to the bleachers on the east side of the rodeo grounds, plus a nuisance property damaged by fire for surplus property/approval of conveyance. Corbett then talks about a 5-year-contract for city budgeting software and a discussion on the 2025-28 strategic plan review.
