On this edition of the KUMA Coffee Hour, you will hear what Umatilla County District Attorney Dan Primus shared Monday with the Hermiston City Council regarding the strain it would put on his office if Hermiston transferred all of its misdemeanor cases to his office. Following his remarks the council voted to try to find the funding for more attorneys at the municipal level instead of transferring its cases to the DA's office. The vote was unanimous.
