Mayor McKennon McDonald and City Manager Robb Corbett recap yesterday’s (Tuesday, May 6) city council meeting. Among the things discussed is the public hearing on the former Christian Science Building, plus the solid waste advisory committee’s annual report which touched on recycling. The council also had a discussion on vacant storefronts, plus had the first reading for an ordinance relating to bus stops and the homeless. Mayor McDonald also spoke about city strategic planning and Corbett talks about upcoming budget meetings.
