Lt. Tony Nelson discusses the cost of Umatilla County Dispatch going up again and talks about things the Pendleton Police Department would like to see dispatch do that they aren’t doing now. As the weather warms up Nelson also gives some tips people can use to help them not be victimized. He also talks about K9 Bali getting close to retirement and whether they’ll get another dog or not. Nelson also shares his thoughts on the deflection program and re-criminalization of certain narcotics. He then talks about registering security cameras with the department. Nelson wraps up the conversation talks about his other duties – being a swim coach at PHS.
