Pendleton Community Development Director Tim Simons and Councilman Addison Schulberg review the March 18th Pendleton Development Commission and City Council meetings. Starting with the PDC, Schulberg gives an update on the Path to Success program, the annual audit report, financial report, and strategic planning for future funding. Simons then talks about the sprinkler connection project which will provide connections to the new Main Street water line line for commercial buildings to have fire sprinklers in their upper stories. Next, they discuss the city council agenda. Simons talks about a resolution to release interest in graves held by the city within the Catholic section of the cemetery to the Catholic church. Also discussed is the Resource Recovery Facility lab rate and septic rate increase, reinstating the 2.5% minimum increase to the street utility fee, and the arena contract for the Blue Mountain Equine Center.
