Pendleton Mayor John Turner and City Manager Robb Corbett recap last night's Pendleton Development Commission and City Council meetings. Starting with the PDC, Turner shares reports from the Jump-Start and Advisory Committees and Corbett talks about the approval of the fiscal year 2023 audit report. Regarding the city council meeting, Corbett talks about the public hearing to amend the sign code to incorporate signage regulations within the historic district, then the first reading to amend the nuisance ordinance. Corbett also talks about approving the agreement with the state to accept $4 million in funds for the Pendleton arterial road for the housing project. Turner ends the conversation recoginizing Public Works Director Bob Patterson who is retiring and moving to Australia.
