Pendleton City Manager Robb Corbett recaps the June 16 Pendleton Development Commission and Pendleton City Council meetings. Starting with the PDC, he talks about 2026 Path to Success competition and program updates concerning safety and security. Regarding the Pendleton City Council Meeting, he talks about the swearing in of fire department personnel; approving a resolution canvassing election results; accepting the services contract for city attorney services with Bryant, Lovlien and Jarvis; amending the agreement with Keller Associates for bid and construction services; approving the energy savings performance contract with Ameresco for the construction and installation of a 500/1376 kW battery energy storage system at the Wastewater Treatment and Resource Recovery Facility. Corbett also gives an update on the city’s work dealing with the homeless situation.
