Pendleton City Manager Robb Corbett and Pendleton City Councilmember Sean Butler recap the Jan. 6 Pendleton Development Commission and Pendleton City Council meetings. Starting with the PDC, Butler talks about the approval of the security grant. Corbett then talks about the Pendleton City Council electing Carole Innes as Council President and details the parks and recreation department's capital improvement program presented last night to the city council. Butler then shares a bit about himself and why he chose to be a councilmember. The conversation wraps up talking about the thought of an indoor pool in Pendleton.

He also shares what needs to be done in regard to both the criminal element of the homeless population and those who commit crimes to feed their narcotics addictions. He also talks about the arrest of David Howard Young for first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree forcible sodomy, then briefly discusses the department's involvement in the investigation involving the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce. Next, Byram updates the status on the fleed of new police vehicles the city is leasing, he talks about staffing and shares a little bit about 2025's calls of service.
