On today's KUMA Coffee Hour, Umatilla County Commissioner Dan Dorran announced a $1.8 million federal grant for rural transportation safety technology. Key updates included legislative concerns for the upcoming session and a new contract to secure Columbia River water easements. Additionally, the county will partner with local cities to showcase regional opportunities at the 2026 Data Center World Conference in Washington, D.C.

Next they talk about the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife building planned for the Southgate area. They also talk about the grind/overlay project planned for North Main Street. Brown then talks about some projects involving the city's water tanks and wastewater treatment plant. Simons wraps up the conversation talking about the McKay Creek flood mitigation plan.
