Pendleton Urban Renewal History Preserved Manager Stephanie Huffman and Pendleton Urban Renewal Associate Director Charles Denight are today's guests on the KUMA Coffee Hour. Huffman begins the conversation discussing the next round of historic building tours happening in March and May, she also discusses the Bisnett Building (former Christian Science building) and how the city council is seeking feedback about the building through the historic building tours. Denight then talks about the three applicants for the Pendleton Development Commission's building program grants and describes in detail each applicant's projects. He then talks about the 2024 Path to Success and when applications will start being accepted, followed by the recent meeting with the 2023 Path to Success winners and what was learned at that meeting. Denight then talks about the Pendleton Downtown Association's search for an executive director and how important filling that position is to assisting the work at Pendleton Urban Renewal.
