Mayor McKennon McDonald and City Manager Robb Corbett review last night's (Tues., Feb. 18) Pendleton Development Commission and City Council meetings. Starting with the PDC, the Jump-Start Committee reported on the Path to Success business plan competition is open for applications until March 10. Andrew Picken also updated the PDC on the next phases of the Rivoli Theater project. Regarding the city council meeting, Mayor McDonald talks about a change in community discussion at city council meetings. Under new business, there was a presentation to the city council on capital improvement projects at the Pendleton Convention Center and Vert Auditorium. Also annual reports to the council from the Library Commission and Historic Preservation Commission.
