Pendleton City Manager Robb Corbett and Pendleton City Councilmember Addison Schulberg recap the Feb. 18 Pendleton Development Commission and Pendleton City Council meetings. Starting with the PDC, then three-month deadlines were approved for projects that passed their original deadlines and their extended deadlines. A plan for a test installation of cameras and possible lighting upgrades to Brownfield Park was also passed. As for the city council meeting, Corbett talks about a proclamation for the Two Cultures One Community Pow-Wow, then public hearings on vacation of the western half of a portion of SW 9th Street for town home development, amending the vacant property ordinance, and passing referral to the electors of the city of Pendleton the question of imposing a levy for fire and ambulance services.
