City of Pendleton Communications Specialist Jennifer Colton spends most of the conversation talking about the Pendleton Public Library, the adult programs like cookbook club, knitting at the library, crafts and more. She also talks about authors accepted into the second edition of the literary magazine will be receiving emails next week. Pendleton Friends of the Library will be having an author presentation on May 8, summer reading begins June 1 and the sixth annual library Comic Con is Aug. 1. As the city's communications specialist, Colton also talks about the League of Oregon Cities conference being held this week in Pendleton, the city newsletter and goats are arriving this week to prepare working along the riverwalk.

Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation Fisheries Program Manager Jerimiah Bonifer gives a broad overview of thw the program is and touches on each project. He also shares the fisheries program goals and why these goals are important to the tribe and its members, plus the general public. Bonifer shares some of the successes and obstacles of the fisheries program. He also talks about how the fisheries program works with area schools and how the public can learn more. Bonifer wraps up the conversation talking about the recent rainfall and how high water events impact some of the fisherie program's project. He also talks about the challenge of keeping invasive species out of local waterways.

Starting with the PDC, Corbett talks about the Hotel Pendleton security cameras. Then, from the city council agenda, he talks about temporary moratorium on marijuana business licenses, the Pendleton Sports Complex land lease at Airport Industrial Park, and nominating Pendleton as Oregon's only World War II Heritage City. Next, Umatilla County Director of Administrative Services Dan Lonai talks about the upcoming May Primary Election, when to expect a voter pamphlet and ballot, voter registration, what to do if you receive a ballot for a voter no longer living at your address, plus voter participation and turnout.
