Pendleton City Manager Robb Corbett and Pendleton City Councilmember Ellie McBride recap the Dec. 2 city council meeting, starting with the annual transit update to city council. They also talk about declaring 40 acres of land to be surplus and approving option for transfer of property to the Round-Up City Development Corporation for a youth sports complex. Corbett runs through a few bids that went before city council. Then McBride talks about the fire station no. 2 remodel and request to expand project to address inadequate living quarters. They also talk about the first reading of an ordinance dealing with vacant store fronts, the capital improvement plan for the airport, convention center and Vert. McBride then talks about city communications and shares why she was interested in serving as a councilmember.
