Pendleton Mayor John Turner begins the conversation talking about his recent tour of the Blue Mountain Equine Center. He then discusses some of the agenda items from last night's city council meeting starting with a public hearing on the dangerous dog ordinance. The council also picked MotoLodge for its radom motel audit, there was a first reading on amending the lodging room tax and a bid award for the McKennon Road lift station replacement project. Turner also talks about the city attorney's overview to city council on the Supreme Court decision on homlessness and the city council's discussion on legislative priorities. Turner also gives updates on the Despain construction project and the Rees/Goad construction project. Other topics discussed were the arrival of exchange students for Pendleton's sister city in Japan and the former Christian Science Building.
