Mayor McKennon McDonald and City Manager Robb Corbett recap the Aug. 5 Pendleton Development Commission and City Council meetings. McDonald shares how the PDC reviewed the final draft of the five-year strategic plan and what that plan includes. The city council had public hearings to consider two separate annexations of land, then the council heard a request from the Elgin Opera House to amend the memorandum of understanding on the Bisnett Building (former Christian Science building). The council also heard a letter of understanding from the Pendleton Round-Up Association regarding the east development of the Round-Up grounds.
