Umatilla County Historical Society Heritage Station Museum Executive Director Shannon Gruenhagen talks about the traveling exhibit from the Oregon Historical Society "What If Heroes Were Not Welcome Home" on display March 8-May 31. The exhibit examines the prejudice that Japanese American veterans from Hood River, Oregon, experienced upon their return home from serving our country in World War II. She also talks about the Trivia Gams event happening March 29 at 5 p.m., and the UCHS Annual Meeting on April 8 at 5:30 p.m. Fourth grade tours also begin at the end of April and run through May. Next, Pendleton Center for the Arts Executive Director Roberta Lavadour talks about the new classes, the Open Regional Drop Off, business members and shopping at the Pendleton Center for the Arts.

Umatilla County Commissioner John Shafer talks about this trip to Washington, D.C. and how he had an opportunity to attend President Trump's speech to the joint session of Congress. He also talks about federal cuts and how that will impact Umatilla County. Next, Shafer talks gives a lengthy update on the Columbia Development Authority and the latest on the planning and redevelopment of the former Umatilla Army Depot. Shafer also shares the county's concerns with the 2025 Oregon Legislature.
