Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation Board of Trustees Member at Large Corine Sams talks about the Columbia Basin Restoration Initiative's one-year anniversary. She explains what exactly the CBRI is and what it does. Sams then talks about what has been achieved in the one year since the CBRI's inception and what CTUIR is expecting from it as it enters its second year. Next, College Place City Administrator Mike Rizzitiello gives an update on the Lions Park renovation project, plus gives the latest on building a new Community Center at Lions Park. He then talks about the city's community grants program, who is eligibile and when the deadline is for applications. Rizzitiello wraps up the conversation talking about how voters last month rejected the bond for a new College Place police station and what's next for the department as it tries to build a new facility.

He then talks about standardized testing and why use it at all if we don't make it required for all students. Mulvihill also shares his concerns regarding the 2025 Legislative session and whether there is any talk of the Legislature fixing the funding shortfall for early learning special education. He wraps up the conversation by sharing what's coming in 2025 for IMESD and its member schools.
