Nina talks to her producer Adam about her recent trip back to her hometown of Melton Mobray in Leicestershire, England. She recounts her experience of being held hostage while on duty and how she managed to keep the perpetrator calm while waiting for backup to arrive. They also discuss the gang-like violence she witnessed in her experience policing soccer hooligans in the 90s. Finally, she reflects on a violent incident that left her in the hospital and the importance of adrenaline in high-pressure situations.
