The submission of names of individuals for the role of Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) was closed on Thursday (Nov 6). The names are submitted to an eight-member Special Select Committee chaired by Speaker of Parliament Seah Kian Peng. The committee will then discuss and decide who to nominate before submitting a list of candidates to the President.
