I'm funny. My first time getting bullies by a girl. Huh yeah, it's great. She likes you. Sint what bullies? She's like, you want to, you know, punch like I dodged on my whole sixth grade. I'm telling you, I was super scared all my life. The grinding all my life, sacrifice, hustle, backer pricing, Want a slice? Got the broller dice to swath all my life. I've been grinding all my life, all my life, the running all my life up, sacrifice, hustle, backy pricing, Want a slice? Got the broller dice to swath all my life? I've been grinding in all my life. Hello, welcome to another additional club Shashay. I am your whole shadd In Sharp. I'm also the proprietor Club sha Shake. And the guy that's stopping by for conversation and a drink today is a rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, one of the pioneers of trap music, and a reality star. He says he's not a superstar, but he's a star from the crib. Georgia Walker Flocker. Yeah, man, ain't nothing super but the first ride how you here? Brouh Man Bless Man, that's the only thing I can say. Blessed. You just got there from there, So what's what's what's popping in there? You and I we're talking off camera, and you say you've been in Atlanta since the fourth grade. I've moved there in ninety four, and we both come to the conclusion it's not the same city that I that I that I moved there in ninety four, and even when I left six years ago to move to La it's different. Nah, It's a whole different city. Man. It's faster, It's not country as it used to be. Right, you know what I mean. You start seeing people from every walk of life. Right, we got traffic? Never do we got traffic. It's traffic at seven o'clock, at nine o'clock, at n I like, where all these people go ahead. They used to be traffic, you know. Walk It used to be traffic basically Thanksgiving all the way to the New Year, and then it was cool. Now that's a twenty four seven NA NA four seven eight. So thanks for stopping by the club. I'm just let's talk about the Crew League, the hip hop basketball competitions. Yeah, you or your team beat twenty one Savage team that. He said, you y'all team were doing a lot of fouling on the man, but why do you got fouls us? He said, wanna look cute and though foul man, you got leaving the game with all your foules and I'm using all those and my my nephew is just face tiping me to your team beat twenty one savent team twenty one twenty two twenty. A lot of us talk a lot of you that you're the king, You the king of a Now yeah, no, I'm not okay. Yeah basketball basketball, Why ain't touched me? So you had? You got skills like that out of shape though, man, Also you a lot of shaping you beat it. I felt like a tired plumber. No one of my family, the Pumies, he's just big. He's just be chilling now. But I'm telling I jump in this rebound. Man, I'm telling you, man, that shock I got through my legs right was unbelievable. But I got more endurance thing all of them. These guys go out and party and drinking. One rule I loved about this, that the celebrity of the captain can't come out the game. Let's both decided to do right. So for me, I'm gonna make you run four four quarters. So you didn't go by the game. You want the MVP. Yeah, but that was our strategy from the beginning. We said, all we gotta do is keep the artist in the game. They can't won't, they won't be able to survive. So obviously you're very competitive. Did you play sports growing up? Y'all? Played basketball? I tried football bigger you wanted about you tried it. You tried it? You big too? Which what happened? You get mad? You want to come and play football? Now you gotta hit me if you get bad. That's the thing. You can get mad and just lay somebody out. It's all within the rooms basketball. Did you shoot your eyes out? Now? I want to shoot nobody on the pad. I won't go if I'm mad. Already going to paint with you. Man to man, like dude, be being bad at you? Was raining the three have supposed to be putting this folkball. He rain is putting it, putting the ball back and you down. So you played you played basketball when you're good at it? I was great at it. My problem My problem was my attitude. It showed me, man, Basketball showed me that, uh, your team is everything. You was nothing so and I was just a ball. I was just a missing though. I felt like I ain't have to practice. I feel like I ain't have to do suicide. I was un organized, right, So by me felling to make it to the NBA, I feel like it showed me and I opened that people around you is everything. So that was your goal growing up? You you played basketball, you feel like you had the skills to make it to the next level. Oh, definitely. I wanted out of basketball. What I wanted to be was an astronaut, a basketball player, or just get money. Well, you got the money, so I guess be at the BACKMA, I don't got the money yet. You got some money, but you want more money. I ain't got no money. That's the cold part. I need some money, man, Go ahead, old man. Yeah, it's crazy. So when you were growing up, what you wanted to be an astronaut, you wanted to be a basketball player. But what was your fallback playing if none of those things happened? The streets? The streets, Yeah, so you wanted to slang. I ain't want to slang the streets. So what are you gonna do with the street. Get some money. How you get money? Send a mix tape? Hey was it caused? Hey straight? Hey the streets. You ain't need no application, no degree. It just needed be lawless man. And I feel like I'm missed basketball. I sucked up, right, you know what I'm saying. Like you didn't through coffee to the way, you ain't even really ca after that, I never believe I could go to college. That wasn't even a thought in my head. Like I'm telling you, road streets, there's no I be growing up. It's not how black you know what we call black kids in our neighborhoods today. We didn't have real estate agents. We didn't have none of that. We didn't have no entrepreneurship. That shi was unheard of. So in your neighborhood, you didn't have anybody to despire to you. So you saw the people in the streets. So that's what you're inspired. Now. It ain't that I even seen them. I wasn't even inspired by them either, right, I just knew I needed something to get to the next level, and what was close to me was street. So so I'm not sorry. I'm just call a spade to spade, right, But I wasn't there to broadcast about it, brag about it. I'm not a kind of person to do that. You would never know what I did, right, So I was just I needed something to go to the next level. But I'm not a person that settled for us. I always know, I'm not a person that bragg brag about things that's not positive at the end of the day. So for me, I just knew I'm gonna be something right. But one thing I always kept was a book in my hand, right, you know what I'm saying. I always made sure man it ain't guests to be dumb gainst his creed, right. So I just took the gangster image to the next level, like, oh it was gangster. Is taking care of my family? Was? Was gangster? Just keeping my little brother alive? Was gangster just keeping my homies alive. And I didn't want to risk nobody's life for my lifestyle. But you know, when you're in that lifestyle, you risking others life, people's life, and unconsciously you know now I know because back then it was it was more so I feel like I was helping you because if I'm in the streets and you respect, if you respect the name of how I'm coming. Man, you ain't gonna touch my family, right. I know that from being a kid growing up, right, So it's more. I was more big on respect. I wanted the streets for respect. Cause respect get you paid, right. I don't know why. I'm from respect, get you paid, right. So that's why I won't respect. Well, that's the number one currency. Yeah, love and respect, that's all. I love. Love and respect. So you're doing what you're doing. Did you have a game? Did you have a game like I'm gonna do this for five years, I'm gonna do this for ten years? How long did you said? I said, I'm gonna hustle. I ain't even have a limit on it. I just wanted to find a better hustle. That's so one hell will led to another. Hubble's it? So? Is that how you morphed into the rap game? You started hustling like day you hear other guys rapping like I could I could do that? No, It's funny. My mother had an artist's manager shared a chance to like, UH do community work for okay, and Uh I ended up getting close to him. We became best friends, right, So I'm I thought to myself. I said, Yo, maybe he could be a big rapper. Right. You know what I'm saying. I believe him, right, I goose, I believe you right, I'm with you. So I started from right there. So you know what I'm gonna be. I'm about to learn my first job I ever outside of anything. I'm gonna be your assistant. Bro right, I'm gonna be your security. I'm gonna have to be a roll this stuff. I never knew these titles, but this is what I was doing. But you can't even pick a bang up your star. So that's what I was all that. Oh of course if he get out, if I helped him blow up, I'm gone. That's it. We created, We created a company together and he's like, Yo, let's take this to the next level. And that's what I did. So on that I learned how to be security, role, manager, assistant, booking agent. I learned all these roles. So when I seen God, God put me in a new atmosphere. I ain't take that gift for granted, right, I took it and went up with it, right, and that's what and thank God for that today. So your mom was was a manager or help get help get good started. Yeah, my mother was a superwe right and so and so you you you tagged along, you jumped on good coach therel for hey, bro, we you going to me with you? All jokes aside, My mother told me she's like a walker. You needed going to roll with him, try it out because I couldn't do it. I feel like if I chase him, it's like, you know, it's like meat riding. You know, meat riders guy. Right, my mother's like, yo, walker, just do it. I need you to do this. And I felt like, this is my mother investment. So at least if I'm gonna go out here hard for gangs or cruise, I need to go hard for my mother investment. Right. If I'm willing to take a bullet in the street, I need to take a bullet for investment. So I'm like, I'll my daughter makes your he go right. And I really felt like I really felt like, whoever touches man, I'm going to prison, right, y'all, don't leave him alone. Wow, I'm I'm gonna jump over you about it, about it. I'm about it today, But I'm not to risk my life for right. Yeah, I read what you said. My gun was like my father. It was like a bullet stopper. It was comforting. It is man, jolly, it's the bullet stopper. Bro heck you it's just shy. But you have you got have ten police cars or two officers in it. They could patrol ten hours out the day and it's still dangerous, right, So it's letting you know, man, police are only there to pick up the body or help you to the ambulance. They ain't never there to stop the crime when I was coming, so I had to have a gun. Mandatory, mandatory. It's no plan. But I mean, but you know, you do realize that when you pick that gun up, that you know you you're taking that thing for a reason, and you know you like, I'm I'm gonna have to use that, but you'm gonna kill a brother. I don't know what I I was a good a right, but I'll tell you this. I grew up in a battlefield. Well, when I opened my eyes, I had swards. God's yelling, oh and to go outside, and we got supermarkets in the battlefield. You have schools in the battlefield, you have life in the battlefield. So I'm not gonna go on to battlefield. But you know what I'm saying, I have to So what did what did your what did your mom say? What was your mom thinking? Because I know mom ain't funny now, I know she tried to talk to you and say walk come on now. I definitely played a good role. You know you like that. Oh nah, I ain't played on. She ain't wane it up. Man. My mother ain't one of them people like, oh yeah, go sell drugs, right, so I will knock your head off your shoulders, like sho's that woman? So I had to and you know I played basketball. So but then when I got into some trouble, somebody came knocked on doors like, hey, your son did some stuff to my house. I'm like, oh shit, that's your friend. My only her son be tripper like me. But yeah, you said to gun with your bullet stopper, did you get bullet? Oh yeah, it's funny. My first time getting bullies by a girl, huh yeah, sixth grade. She likes you, she want bullies, She want to, you know, punch me, like I dodged up my whole sixth grade. I'm telling I was super scared of her, right, but I got in the hoods. Of course you get bullying. Elementary scored in New York. It was taking your bus pass, I'm despering, chasing you. I guess it was real. My whole life was just real. Right, But I'm just not here to complain about it. I'm not here to make that like a sob story, right. That was just my strength. So that helped me today when I do business today, sitting across the table from anybody, I'm not never gonna settle for less. You're never gonna take advantage of me, and I'm never gonna complain. Right, but we're gonna talk about business though. We're gonna get it done. Your first tattoo hit squad tattooed on your fingers. Yeah, your homie did it with a tattoo gun. He did it with a with a paper clip, paper clip ink from a pen o, my best friend. I don't I don't know who who's boring saying him for doing it or you for allowing him to do it. Yeah, he learned, he went, he went to jail learn how to do some tattoos on Oh but oh get so he came about you with this campus. That's right, let's get it and you bro you not a man tattooed you with a paper clip. I messed up in school, so I was already in the streets right there. I know I couldn't go to school. I'm like, i'maing first in this. That's that's why I am. How bad did that hurt? How old were you you got the tattoo? I had like seventeen hit squad. That was the name of your your crew? Yeah that was named my friends? Yeah your friends, my friend my friends. That was the name of us. So in your your friends, the homes is click, y'all. Fight love fighting love it. Fighting is everything. I'm sorry. I'm not a violent guy, but the gunship is cool when it's happened. Would you rather knuckle up? Oh God, come on, one beat? Beat my ass man? Come on, these kids a lot of kids today. I guarantee you they never had a fight. No this sto hes to pull that strap. Though you don't want no guns, it's cool. I can't. I I honestly got true today. I can't even see myself reacting like that. Right, So people people get real disrespectful. But for me, man, God gave me something. That's that I had to realize the power of choice. Right, you have a choice to allow to let this shit bother you. Right. I can't let y'all ball. I got too much, it's got too much skin. You got too to stop. I'm put too much work in right, I'm thirty six years old. I'm too grown to be a punk, a puzzy, a lane a sucker. That is. I'm just gonna dip my boy, y'all. Y'all too aggressive like, right, But you put this possible in the corner. It's going down, right, it's going up. So when you go back to your old hood, they sure you love right now. I mean, the ain't no distanspect coming from the hood, No, never that. But you know, my thing is this, right, my whole yao. First of all, my whole ship coming up was to make it out correct. I'm not one of them niggas gonna be a billionaire and go sit in the hood and roll dice and smoke weeds. Right. I want to buy the block, right, I want I want our name on the block. Right. That's going back to the hood. Okay. But what stopped me and what actually made me stop it hanging in the hood was Dick Gregory. Okay. I watched this clip. Dick Gregory was like, Nigga, why do you buy this rolls or to ride through the hood to show you the richest motherfucker that I can't buy one and d D And it's crazy because that's why I bought it. Right. I was young, like were getting money on the South Side. I'm going to pull a phantom out here, da da. But I was ignorant, and at the same time, I could have bought this car door downtown Atlanta, and I robbed by every day today, right, and its fucking five times about right, the egg on my face, right. So when I seen Dick Gregory do that, I actually got out that car. I ended up getting in to Escalate and I've been driving Escalator ever since two eleven and I don't barely be home, like I don't cards to me. It just I start figuring. I mean that, I mean, come, we need one to get from point A to point B. But at what point? Because you probably had everything? So now is it is it a means of transportation or that it means to get attention? You know what? It was? The problems crazy, The problem is like the things I wanted to be and grow up to be I got there twenty three years old. Okay, my mom, I was sitting so high on top of my mountain. I just kept smelling something, right, it just smell like manure. I was standing on top of ship mountain. I didn't have nothing. I didn't have no business. I didn't have no financial literacy. I didn't have a insurance policy. I didn't know what trust accounts was, shell companies. I didn't know how to go buy tangible businesses. I didn't know nothing. So I'm like, yo, how am I this famous guy? And I'm the big away in y'all respected me, But I can't even tell you how to go open up a bank account. I didn't even how to open up a bank account. Shop. I'm telling you. I learned that twenty three years old. Like it's crazy, Like I'm all respect to my mother. And mother didn't have time to teach her that. She was too busy paying bills right and making sure we alive. So when I learned that part, it felt so good learning that. Like usually, if I if I want to run money up, I have to go on the streets. Now, y'all got good credits and holding companies, I gonna get me a low right, I can get along right now for ten million dollars even, honey, man, it's it's just perspective and a good business plan. It's easy. So when you start learning things like that, why would you be a edge monster? Right? I know anybody right now, Yo, I don't care how gainst you are, my boy, if you start learning this real business man, you ain't that duck man who I wish you ain't going. I'm good. I'm not going nowhere with with with all the odds is against me. I can't do that. It's stupidity. So that's what made me stop. Man. I was on top of ship Mountain and I want to build Mount Everest, right, and I knew it's all right here in my brain. I got tired of just anytime I see a crowd of black people, I'm I'm clutching. If I get around a bunch of Chinese guys, a white guys and this guy I'm kind of cool, I'm like, what the fuck? I'm like, why am I like that? Right? I broke out of it. I want to I want to perfect me. I didn't want to be this person that would when they want to say America wants you to get all every black man say, Yo, niggas, don't chuch blood people with it. I want to be me, man, I say, a walker. How could you change anything? You can't change yourself. How could you change the world If you can't change your family? How could you change in your family? If you can't change your neighborhood, How could you change the country. You can't change your state. So you have to change you, your family, your neighborhood, in your state. So that's a lot of pillars. Mentally you have to get through as a man. So for me, I wanted to be that. I'm it's no sustinct, it's perfect. That's why I'm going to perfection. So that's how I lived. Man. You say, growing up you was good with the hands. Did you ever think about becoming a boxer? Oh, of course I was gonna do UFC. Oh, that's a whole different animal. Die. No, I ain't. That's that's it's mad in Boston. I ain't got a number worried about, But these in UFC you gotta worry about the Yeah, I'm witnessed. I'm witnessed. I can't I'm witness especially if I messed up on everything in your life. Who you get ready, boy, this is my only hustle, right, it's over. Like I proved that in rap when rap was my only hustle, I read. I couldn't even rap. I couldn't even tell you what a bar was, right. Metaphor is, I don't know how to do, I don't know how to count, none of that stuff. But when this is my only hustle, I'll finish show you how to win, right, Like that's all it is. He spoke about your mom and she's helped Nicki Minaj French my talent, Yo Gotti, What exactly did she do that? You was like, man, my mom got a real artist hustle. Bro Let me leave these streets, let me get me all this hustle. Yeah, besides, Yo Gotti. But you know my mother my superhero, right my whole life? Are you the only child? Nah? We love my mother right like we I'm like my mother's goom. Like I used to like literally hide and follow my mother. Like so it's like, yo, miss that brover here, I go over there. Like I actually watched my mother as a kid, kicking prostitution houses, grabbing little girls out of them, right, fighting pills like my mom is just a different breed or a woman, right, So I just look like, yo, how can I complain? And it's a woman dude, right right? And she's just she everything? Bro, I wouldn't I give everything to my mother? Like in music it was it wasn't It wasn't a smooth ride, but it could have been way worse if I didn't have her around. So it for you is wrap a family business from nah? Nah? Hell know so it's about to become a family business. But as as you saw your mom doing what you do and you say she's not she a hustler, she's a full blown is that where you get your hustle? Definitely? Definitely? Well she she the truth. So how does she teach you about business? Because you say you didn't really know anything about business, but you saw her. She had to have a good game playing together because some of these big artists, although they were probably starting at the bottom, they were entrusting her. Uh yeah. The only the problem with people in trusting people. You just don't trust yourself, right, That's one I think with my mother, she was a great teacher. Had shown you what she do, not explaining to you how to do it right, mama, mother. She's a kind of teacher that she wanted to see if the students is bringing to the table and not doing what she do. So I automatically knew. I'm like, yo, now I don't have a vocal mother. She's straight down cold with us, right, like she didn't call him mother, Like you don't wake up, go to scuse. Oh it's okay, that's your little stupid ass, but you don't get the fuck out my house when you get wrong. That's definitely I'm telling she she ain't within no cookie cutting. So for me, I wanted to I said, you know something, whcause this is what I was great. I have to find everywhere in my mother's weekend right and filling it for strength. Okay, So it's like, why would I go do the same job she did it. She spent X amount of years to do it. I need to come here and build on it, right Cause I watched a lot of kids from my neighbor of like black kids, everything their parents do, they do the opposite right, And I never understood that. I'm like, yo, if your parents working for twenty years, why wouldn't you build around the right. So that's all I did. Man, I just I went everywhere with my mother. Needed feeling that and handle it. Oh my mama's boy. Excuse me if I never had a girl out of stayed living with my mother. How long had your mom been in the rep in the music industry? Now we've been. I I feel been connected to music since brun DMC wow. Like these folks are all through the house, like any kind of artists. I just don't want to stuck. I really don't like stuff right by A promise to you. Everybody was in my grandmother house right at all? Any rapping proby can think about. But then if you saw that growing up, what made you want to go to the hustle game? If you saw that your your what your mom and what your grandmama and what you couldn't become, why'd you go to the opposite? You say, you don't understand when you see kids you oppositely to what their parents do, But you would doing the opposite? Was yeah, you would do the opposite? Yeah, I don't you know. I would love to answer that question, but I can't. When Gooch, you say you you tagged along with Gooch, But so when when Gooch went to a club man, is that when you started rapping. Nah, Actually when I started rapping, because Gooch kept going to jails in the beginning, right, like he couldn't even stand the jail for a year straight, like Miscellanian stuff. Then it got to a point where locally people was like, oh, walk you made I'm like nigging. I only got three thousand dollars on a partner. Like. So, when I was trying to do stuff that normally do, people look at them like, man, why are you over here? Bro? You know you ain't gotta do this, y'all live right, I'm like no, I'm like So it forced me to get in the studio and becoming around. I remember when I was becoming rapping, goops like I don't like your rapping, man, you need to be a gool what yah? Yeah, So I was like hey, no, But in my head, I'm like, man, then I'm about to make us big, right, We're not about to fall right. So that's all it was. It was about just picking the team up and running right. That's all I wanted to do. So the brick squaded, your your crew, your click. So how did you come up with the name? How do you like? Okay, this is what we're gonna do. I'm done with that, all the other stuff that I used to do. I'm done. This is this is my total vision because you seem like a very folk like when you set your mind is whatever, it is good badly different when you set your mind and something you going down that road. Yeah, you gotta sit in the army. You know. I'm the guy that don't change though, I'm the guy that evolved, right, So I just wanted to evolve. It wasn't about like what I did not doing it. I evolved from that. So how you say we came from a crew a click to a company right to organization, correct, So that's why I wanted. I'm like, yo, why could you can do it? It's just like, how could you not do this? Man? Let's just America. How do you? How did you organize? Because you like by making us a million fucking mistakes and every even none of 'em broke it, none of nothing and break me? How could you break me? I'm like, it's nothing in the world's gonna break me. I could walk with no arms and legs. I'm still never gonna be broken. I got my mind, man, So how are you able to build a fan base so quickly. I guess genuine and realness. All you gotta do is be real, be authentic. I don't have none against artists today, but I never was a kind of artist to be flashing guns and cameras and talking about killing you all day. And that ain't my swag. I couldn't do I had. I had a chance to do that right, right, Like I had a chance to make like just manifesting murder is what I call it. So I had that manifesting murder music, right, But at the end of the day, I said, yo, I got a party. Still. People are like, go walk, can you switch it up with ETL? But I'm like, yoll had that on my first album, right, I was. I just wanted to rock with every body, right, I wasn't. I was entertaining, right cause I know I was a shit rapper. So I said, I'm i'ma be the best entertainer. That's something I know, y'all. And I can mess with me with I know. But when I came out and doing music, recession was out right. Yeah. I think I came out of an old a old nine right. There was recessions, right, you know what I'm saying, rappers was on stage like being cool. I came out headbanging I and I see just from the error of me coming out, I see what it created. I see now we're on festivals. I used to be the only rapping out error on festivals, right, they used to be like festivals. The fuck is that I might just take a picture that festivals like, damn, you got a big fan base. I'm in America. My my label was like, yo, I gave me this album called Friends, Fans and Family. They's like, nah, we don't want this. Like what the fuck that wanted me to keep talking about killing people and girls sucking my balls all day? Like that's crazy. I got a daughter, right, I got a little brothers, I got a little on me. So I went over seas myself. I ended up me and me and on my friend break. We end up going over there, taking us a cameraman that speak French, learned English through rapper, and we went all through Europe, all through Germany, all through Sweden, everywhere, and rocked all the festivals. And I because I I've seen this quote, there's like your pictures said a thousand things. So all I did was just keep taking pictures everywhere. I was there there paying for some of the festivals to get on. I ain't kill I knew I was a star. Once they see what I got going on, they gonna love me. So every time I performed, they were, yo, we will give you thirty forty fifty sixtell whatever to come back. Yo, you're amazing. You're not like other rap artists because American artists has shitty names back then, Like American artists come and charge a lot of money and give a shit show, right, That's they always said. Yeah, so it was pretty good when you came out. You came out hard Harden to Paint. Oh they're dude, it so Harden to Paint. How did that come about? It is that because of that? Hey I'm here, I'm going hard. Oh yeah, so this was Harden to Paint on was I'll caught like? It was inspired inspired by Lebron James. Okay, Lebron James never was alive. That song would never be out here, right, So I was like, damn, yo, Lebron my favorite player right now, Lebron and Katie. So I'm like, yo, you know what too, I got you, Lebron. I know what I'm gonna do. I'm going I'm Lebron in the streets okay. And I had a mixtape called Lebron Flock of James. Yeah, and that was the highlight song of the tape. I want that to be an hour. And the shit just blew up. And I know, like like, I come from a background of whooping and being old whooping and that's your fault. And I was I was like, man, if I go to the Jungles, that'll just put some connection with the South and the West Coast. So I came to California. I want to hang with every gang it was alive here cause I wanted to unify it. I was more of a like a brotherhood kind of guy. So I was like, shit, I could make it into juggles and I could touch you La. I just wanted to touch him. I just want to let him know. Bro, this shit bigger than the streets. Y'all. Folks got Hollywood by y'all. Y'all, folks got a beach, y'all, folks living in the area where all the technology yet brouh if y'all just put that him and down broun and put your ego where you're nuts at. I'm telling you'll be real rich, and I want to show him, like y'all risk my life to show y all this. That's why I walked in there. I ain't walking there to be the hardest man on earth. I walked in there to show you. Bet you gotta be lawless and livingless if you want to get to the next level. And when I say lawless meaning your laws, you don't live by what you your rules and what you say in life. You gotta be better and bigger. That's and I'm just up. I'm just that guy. I gotta be better and bigger. How didn't make you feel when you're athletes playing your song? They're getting ready to go play on the foot and give him the field, play football, play basketball, and you hear him playing your songs? What did that do for you? Hell? Shit, man, I ain't make new music in two thousand and twelve, man to hear it play like it just came out yesterday. Here. You know, I don't even feel famous, right, So I listen to that shit like it's somebody else too, right, It's it's the energy in it. What was it like when you first the first time you heard your music played radio? You're in the club. I was on the phone, you little phone. Yeah. My brother called him. Okay, my brother called him, like yo, my older brother. He funny as he my older brother never had an enemy in his life. Right, He'll come like, yo, yo walking those niggas stole your name. I'm like, who I can, I can bad face, like yo, you on't head In the background, I hear yeah, let dude, I'm like, oh shit. He was profit Like I'm in my head like oh shit. I'm like nah ah man, I'm like all right. Next you know, he's going the radio. You're like, yo, you're on the ready. I'm like, yo, I made it up. That was that was, That's that's what you was over. So now you you're performing in the club. You I mean so when you started out, you going club, you know, small clubs. I mean they probably played. I still do it right now. I still a three hundred video. I love it. I cannot stand big crowds. It's it's all to me. Big crowd music is just like me digging in your pockets. Right. I gotta be up and close to y'all. I have to. If I do a stadium, I gotta walk around the whole stadium, right, I'm not gonna lie to you. I have to be around people. Like you said, which city is your roughest. So when you don't have no BRP, you don't have Yeah, I'm like everybody in the BFP. What that even yap there? Because it's a party, Like who goes to the club. The sipping, the sipping cheer I'm holding now, I could sipping chills. Right, I'm young. I'm like, I'm not about to be here with my home boys, right, We're about to be here with the club, buddy, right, Like that's how I am. Man. I have to be a memory. Man. I'm looking at some of the claws. I mean the heavy hitlers A Drake, Little Wayne Future, Ti Rick Ross, Offset Wallet, but she ain't gunn Frick. I mean, bro, when you're in the studio with these guys, because I remember the first time and nine, I'm gonna try to quit it to something going to the Pro Bowl and my quarterback. I played with John Elway, but I go to the Pro Bowl and Dan Marino and Warren Moon and Jim Kelly. Later in my career, I got Peyton Manning and Tom Brady and I'm like, okay, and the DVS are over there. I'm like, I gotta put my man. I gotta I gotta show why. I gotta show these guys while I'm over here. When you get to the studio and you got these heavy hitlers, do you like damn? Man, I gotta break it. Man. No, I just right for my fans. I don't care nothing about them, So I'm trying. Wasn't sitting music like bro, I'm telling you, man, listen, Basketball showed me. It's about the people, right. I don't care nothing about awards. All due respect to every artist out here, man, f y'all, I'm for the people, man. I know, Man, God, they may fans made me. Man, I wouldn't be I wouldn't be shipped without people. So what I look like impressing a celebrity? What I look like trying to outrap you? I'm trying to outrap myself to make people love me some o. Right, So it's all about fans with me. I'm a fan for it guy. In real life, Like in real time, I have to fuck with the people. That's the problem today. People don't fuck with people. They just talk shit all day. That's why all this philosophical ass podcasts covered out of there. Motherfucker. Put that podcast in the neighborhood and talk get the funck from buying the grees career. That's why I'm be trying to tell young niggas. They're doing it, like bro, y'all too young, go touch people. Let the ogs do that. Y'all gonna touch people, right, These people need that. When I was young rappers and ballpa, it was coming to our neighborhoods. It felt good. Now people get on Instagram and get shooken up. I wish I would. I still gonna talk anywhere in the world. I don't. I don't. Can I talk the old neighborhood? It is my boy, cause you just didn't see light. Yeah, it's just dark over there, right, and I put a light bubb of their. Motherfucker it's going down right. First come to Mosquitos and everybody. Do you ever get riding block? Do you ever get like damn? But I wanna go with this. Manna just doesn't wanna do it. I just it got to a point like, man, I like my music. I already put out ship, well I make it even more. I can't and it's hard to wrap with people like what I'm gonna wrapping about sleeping with the bad bits, drinking. I don't drink lean, I don't pope pills. I barely drank liquor. I only just smoked puff a little bit. I can't wrap with somebody's eighteen years old. What do we have in common? I'm not spending no block. I'm gonna I'm gonna erase that motherfucker if I got that's my mindset, So why would I? I just don't got nothing in common with people. And then I'm just we just got different styles, right. These guys got mellow tone stuff. I don't. I can't go and see them like you know what. I'm in this thing and I'm tripping. I'm dripping and swagging, man, I I can't. I'll be bored. Right, I'm not gonna lie to you. I can't be in the motherfucker harmonizing it. I like the music, but I can't do that. I wanna party, I wanna yell, I wanna right. I just took a break. My music still good, So while I make another record for before your debut album, you were shot and robbed at a car wash? Do you know what happened? Y'all still go to car wash yeah, I know what happened, definite. I thank God for that too. That was a blessing. Why because that weekend I was making like a quarter million. I was gonna buy some breaks and some pounds. That's God that stopped me. I think God was arrogant as fucked, I wondered. That's when I got it turned me dark. It turned me dark all the way. I just felt like I just wanted to just be there, be there, motherfucker up, turning hoods up and organized shit I was. I was into. I was just too. I was bad. Yeah. I think God and that walker died that day too. I'm telling it took the jewelry. Oh yeah, it took a chain, little brace Did you want to give it up? You didn't want to give it up? Did you? What? Why not? Fuck? You gotta killed me for nah? Hell no you don't here? There you go? Yeah, you got it this short nah? And if even if you're then you gonna get from over again back? Then how do you think like that? You think this is my life? We ignorant, We don't have this. Yeah, I tell you what, you can get some more of a watch, bracelet, a chain. I hear what you can't get no more of a life. How do you know I might go hire? Ain't God probably got a bigger purpose of and right then and there, it wasn't right. I'm telling you shoot like I man, look at him. Man, I ain't got time to be playing with you. Buddy. You ain't taking this do your job. Who was you talking about? Like it's nothing? I'm just like I'm back on hunt person like but today ship. Yeah, I tell you this shit right ahead. How many times you get hit? Uh? Doctor? I got hit four times one bullet? It's crazy. I got penetrated once. But they hit here, hit my shoulder, blade, came through my reels, hit one of my lungs and almost pinched my spinal cord. Ain't said, probably from the forcing me punching too. So you're fighting. Yeah, I'm trying to knock his ass out, but I hesitated. That was my problem. I think God from I the God had shot me. I never wanted to kill him either. Every opportunity in the world to do him and you don't need it. Oh yeah, definitely. But why I kill him? He made me. I'm a fucking millionail for he'd he ever apologized. I don't even want it the bullet. I deserved that bullet, man, I'm telling that mother. I deserved that motherfucker because he was out there bad man. I deserve it. But it is gonna get a job. I teach you how to put the gun down. I deserve it, man. The ship I know today. Man, I can't be mad at nobody because it helped crazy who I am today? Your debut album, you called it Floca Velly named it after Tupac, Yeah, both of you. I mean, is that because Tupac was shot? He talks about it? You're not you know what? I got it from Tupac, but I actually got it from Michael Velly. Okay, when I find out who Michael Velly was the god that everybody want to you know what I'm saying. He was just the got his ship and an slept on, but he was that guy. Yeah. I felt like that in hip hop, right, can't thirty years after Tupac and Biggie and we still haven't. We saw Takeoff just recently got killed. Yeah, p and b robbed. We see trouble. We see take I mean, I mean Takeoff ever come home? Yeah, come I mean pop from Ote. I mean these guys uh yeah, come on home, come on, come on walk, give me something. Why why? I can't tell you why, And I never want to speak on nobody death, but I could tell you this, when God bless you, right, you have to change your ways. You have to evolve. You have to. That's all I can say. Right. I could just say, wrong plays, wrong time for these guys. So when you I think take off, they say take off with with with with U And they were, you know, rolling dice. So in other words, once you ascend to a certain level, you gotta leave that alone. Can't You can't go back to the screen. And I know I don't we all respect How why would I roll dice to somebody else that on my tax break? It's liability that some shit could happen. I ain't gonna lie. I've been there, I've We're going back to the crib and roll dice, laid card. I don't gamble, though, but you know what I do gamble with my business, my life. I'm gonna driving around drunk drivers and angry guys. You know what what it is, Walker, is that I think I wanted to show it that I'm bro I'm still shanning, I'm still the guy that came from Glennville that you know, went to high school with which I was in the same classroom with a lot of you guys. Some of you guys dropped out, some of you have made it through. I went to college with I'm still me bro. I don't look at I was like, I'm tried to show you that I don't think I'm better than you. Yeah, And I felt that was the only way for me to show that I wasn't better come back, you know what I'm saying. I watched people die over there, everything like that. That's why I ain't never be him. And it's crazy. I grew up always an outsider, always, so even in my neighborhood grown, I was outsider. I'm a New York nigga's like he was some New y'all. Right, so I'm never from the neighborhood, but I am right, like, I ain't got nothing to prove to y'all. Yo, you could be like walk away. We ain't allowed in the hood, right And what hood? What you're talking about? Fuck my nether hood. I'm in my neighborhood. Come over here, you know what I'm I don't even have that attitude. I don't like that ship, don't I'm not rolling. I think when y'all done hit me, I'm not like, I'm not not him. I'm I know what outside really looked like. Well, I know God was looking on me because I didn't brought so many pieces and said that I brought gold and we're gonna get a case of bearing a. We rolled the dice. I played cards with him in that a, but they looked. You know the thing I can answer about my homeboys, and I knew a lot of 'em was doing, like, Hey, bro, I'm going back to the city. I want to say, knocks up. You know what we do. I don't even want to put it like that, because if you get stopped and we got they gonna hey you're the big fish. Hey, I hit you up tomorrow, or I'm about to go do this, I hit you tomorrow. I'm like, bro, good looking. I mean, you know what I'm just saying. You know, like I said, I it's this thing I wanted to show them. I wanted to guys, no, I'm not I know I wouldn't. I wouldn't. I was never wanted them, but I wanted to show them I'm still hey. Even though y'all see you born TV and I'm playing and I'm catching touchdowns. I'm in the super Bowl. I ain't changing. I still got respect, I still got love for you. You know. It's crazy. It's like it's what they call street niggas. Yeah, that's people that get money out the streets seven right, and the street guys, these guys born in the streets. Rights mean, I'm a street guy. I'm a hustler. I'm not a trapper. Right, I'm not about to stay out here and sell drugs every day, right, nigga know my face, kudos whoever did it. I never sold crack, never sold cocaine. I never That's not my sway. I don't I'm gonna tell you that. Everybody know that. But I'm not with that. But I'm with what I'm with though he's getting I'm trying to say. But in life, man, it's even like rappers. They call everybody a rapper, but it's not. There's not a lot of rappers out today. If you're a rapper, that means hip hop pays your bills. It's a lot of inspiring rappers. It's people I had to spend money to look like a rapper. And try to be a rapper, invade all the people that had getting into more trouble than the people that's actually getting paid off hip hop. So that shit divide today. I think that they got to stop putting these guys in the same bracket. How could you put an upcoming rapper and put a headline like he's the newest guy. What was the respect that my man? Like, these guys are inspiring rappers, rappers get paid off this inspiring basketball. That's like saying a guy that playing the park is an NBA player. So it's like niggas in ots NBA players. That's like kids in college are NBA players, No, they inspiring NBA players. That's like these guys that's get around rappers, they inspiring artists. So it's a difference. You gotta know the difference. And I think that's what a mental confusion come from from rappers and inspiring rappers. They feel like they gotta hang around the guys that's inspiring, and that's when they go back to their old ways or get tied into some old shit. I'm not doing that. If it's three o'clock in the morning, I'm not hanging around a bunch of mean, mugging ass motherfuckers. They give you not smiling, you're getting away from me. That's my motto. I'm like, yo, bro, he's not smiling. What's wrong with They get him some shots, so he gotta go home? Simple as that, hell girl, simple, your house got ready. However, I've never been a situation you see it on TV. So you your home is raided. You weren't home, but but gutual. So what's it like? So when you get to call it, hey red the red dogs kicking there now else Harry County back then, Oh here they cause they thought my house had drugs and prostitution ranking this. Oh my brother, I'm a rapper, like, I'm a rapper like, I'm not afraid until they got a rapper, right bro, all that in the streets. You're right they thought that was a front hunt. Of course there ain't no front fuck. I look like selling weed, a crack of pills, and I'm getting paid thirty forty sixties hundreds in this to go do shows. Oh go through walk throughst like you wild. Now we see gonna gonna get released. He flared the racketeering gang charges. People say he snitched and normally when the fans get the fans say that when the fans would look, when the fans come knocking, I don't know what. The Fast never touched my dogs, so the shit, I'm good but you but you know what? But you know the Fast, I know of it. Yeah, I don't know that. When the man mad boys come, you know fbi GB I at l high five of them there, yeah or something? Shit, Why ain't no criminals? Well I know a whole bunch of them. Yeah, walk what up? Man? What's up my boy? I'll take a guy to the Vegas Ball What up? By what? I'm not that guy. I'll take picture of anybody. I don't I don't know. I'm gonna be honest. I read those ships. I'll be reading like damn, that's what they wea doing, gonna got released young thugs still in Damn. I know till thugs were hard working. He's one of the most hardest working artists. See in my wife right. He loves music. But who knows, Like God, bless their situation. I hope they learn from him. Man. I pray they'd be bigger and bigger and better people from right. I read what you said. I wish I hadn't started my rap career off talking about guns and violence. Yea, cousin, I just seen what it did to everybody. I seen it. I'm watching that shit invented drill music and all that Before me, Bro, I would never see people doing like crunk gang banger music. Right. That what I wanted. I created my stay. I like something for distrect shit and some parties, right and it, shit just went to the left. Like I watched everybody grow dreadlocks. I just watched them. I watched everybody party the same way. Niggas jumping the crowds, head banging, moving around. I watched it. I watched him have a cruel motherfucker's on stage jumping around. I watched it. I'm not saying they guy, but I watched. They watched me, dude. Right, you see what I'm saying, and I see how far it went. Though it's a different see due to me and these young guys today. See, we two different men monsters. Right when I came up. You know what, my most important piece of my career was what my OG's. Okay, So every song I was talking about about big homies. These young kids today they think they're the big homie and I'm here to tell the lack of respect and I don't even I don't care about that because I don't even think about nigga dispecting me. I'm telling them, are young guys, Hey, that's your self destruction button. You got to tap into people growning and you're older, you have to I'm telling you, don't ever let these people that are doing business talk to you like you are a man, because you're not nigga. You young you, they gonna get you that way. So for me, I always kept some older people around me, and I don't care what happened in my career or how I when it created who I am today. And that was the biggest blessing I haven't had in my life because I was raised around oldgs. It's rap music blame for the gun violence in the community. Oh no, that's the person. Hip hop is not dangerous. It's the man that's rappening. My hip hop career is not dangerous. Right, Yeah, So let me ask you this. You're rapping about this, okay, you try to get it. You're trying to get get knock noticed. Your debut album. You you rap about what you wrap once you make it should you stop. Should you change your messaging? I I'll tell you this shit. If you still right about gangsters, you're a lie. You're captain. I stopped rapping because I ain't do it. I never knew life, yo, I'm not nigga. I Scott dived, I walked down Barcelona. I never knew this shit exists, right, yo. I never even went to festivals before I came a rapper, right, I was in the streets. I never knew about festivals. I never even heard of that ship. You got guys, that street guys going to festivals doing gangster shit. That's crazy. What are you doing? Not back? No, I'm just telling you that's not my life. Man. My life is just it's not about drilling and killing and spinning. I'm not about to kill y'all. Think what you talking about? Why? Why do you think hip hop is the only music genre that glorifies killing its song. Oh, it's just a mental condition. It's just the way they see each other like as it's an animal thinking. Then, because everybody's in survival mode, right, So if you act as if you got to survive, the only thing that acts like you gotta survive as an animal? Animal? Yes, you see what I'm saying. So once everybody stopped thinking that they got some vive and live, it's two different perspectives. I know, I just gotta live. I don't have to survive no more. Right, So these guys are just in survival mental mentalities. So that's why they got animal instincts. How do we get the recording companies to stop exploring that because they pushed that? Uh? How do you get them to stop doing it? Yeah? How many billionaires we got that? Rappers? We don't have to say we have? Well, you guys want to see jay Z it's a billionaire? Did he? Probably? I think Diddy Diddy might be one. At Rihanna's not a rapper, but she's a billionaire. I mean, I don't, I don't. I think what's stopping all these people that got all this? Manica? Hey, I never touched a hundre of mellon. I can't wait right either, I cannot wait. I'm talking a hundred million liquid, not just having on him. I don't care what hundred million. I don't hunt hundred a hundred million puzzle pieces. I don't hold a hundred million or something that's true. But I ask you this right, what's stopping people that got all this money just saying hey, look y'all, let's all put a hundred millionaire, Let's create a major label, Let's create a distribution company. Let's get our kids aside on us. It's not about making money, about keeping them to survive. Do you do you believe that you can make it without talking about those things? The drugs, the guns, the sex, the violets? Can you can you have a Can you have a can you have a rap career? But I just heard a chance to rapper? Okay, I heard J Cole. The guys don't again, that's what you glorify, k Right, Yeah, that's just it's just that's just life. You say you don't do that? Did you did you ever do drugs? Did you ever do pills? Did you ever do lean? Yes? I was addicted to extacy from fourteen to twenty seven. Yes? Did you go to rehab? Or you just stop? Man? I'm done with this. Done? So you in cold Turkey? No, no, no intervention or nothing. I find it weak to depend on something else that you created as a man, right, especially so I don't. I talked to a council for just a hair perspective, never to be a crutch again. God gave me something choice, a mind. You have to build on your mind like you building your basketball skills. And I want to overpower these ships. I want to overpower everything. I just nothing could beat my mind. Man, I'm telling you, you and Gucci got Gucci was on and dry, got cleaned. You and him had a falling out considering how me and Gucca and being best of friends. In my first fucking mixtape, y'all, we always was like this, like but but I mean, but you know, he started hearing you you was piggy back in or you was tailing a truck, whatever term you wanted. I don't give a damn whatever they want you what what what happened? You said? He didn't want you to wrap. He wanted you to be that little king. I ain't gonna lie. I'm over talking about it. But it's his life, right, I know. I ain't do nothing flaw right, There's all I'm gonna say. Right, you get what I'm trying to say. Like, but y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, cordial, cordial, man, We good, okay, But it's just like he's doing something totally different. I wouldn't move how he moved, right, I couldn't do that. I'm just sorry. Like he happy doing what he's doing right, and shit, I'm happy doing what I'm doing right. So if we ever, if it ever intertwined something in a time and the place, and hey, it's just it's what it is. But he happy, man, And to me, that's all I ever wanted to see my dog happy. Right, So he happy to being where he I don't. I don't gotta be there, right, I cheered for nigga mile away. I don't kill your brother. Yeah, committed suicide, and I thank you. He before he did he call, he reached that you missed his call? Yeah, definitely. How did that impact you? Shit? Fuck me up? Brokay? Let you know, man, just shit, you didn't know what your brother was going through? Digit nah and that let me know, man, I'm too into myself. And you missed the science? Would they? Were they anyone on the side that something that you could have picked up on? I could see it cause he was going blind, Okay, But again I couldn't see you killing him so far right, right, it was it's a selfish act. Right. I still ain't forgive him for it, to be honest. So that's probably a lot why I don't hurt me a lot. But man, that's shit. Crazy. Man, it crushed me. I ain't even gonna lie it's crazy. I still ain't like deal with I ain't put it in the back of the burnout. It just like shit happened. You've had some friends that also, Yeah, I had a friend I don't know now, I committed suicide last year. Yeah. I always meet people like this. It's it's foot it there. I see my other little brother brains on the floor out their head, ran old by my next dodle neighbor that was drunk, old white guy. And he ain't never go to jail. Get don't trying to say so. It ain't make me grow up hating white people. Right, it's life, can right, I have to just yeah, it's there's nothing gonna break me and beat me down. How do you how do you? I guess the word is cope, say you get over. That's the wrong words. When you start attaching yourself to these words, you start falling with deal with it. It's nothing to deal with. It happened, right, It's like saying you just move on. Just ain't half a move on? Boyeah? Yeah, what you're gonna do about it? Gone, It's like having a cold. I'm saying, complaining and call for get some help me get over it, and I ain't complaining. I'm to go fight it. So I complain after I'm done. I'm gonna deal with this. I'm that. I'm just I was just built up to be like that. You gotta deal with it? Why, there's no can't man? So is that? Is? That? Is that? Why? How? And why you're able to deal with things because you've had a lot of trauma, death in your in your life. My first superhero, right, my father. It's guy's like God probably built, probably a little bigger than you built, but dark skin the glory God, he's he that nigga. Right when I watched this guy sitting the hospital the size of my pinkie dying counsel cancer, and I said, God, damn, what the fuck did my father doing life to die in that bad with that kind of sickness? And then I had to grow up and realize the kind of man he was, and that was his comma. That's another reason I didn't stay in the streets. I didn't want my comma to die in the hospital bed for counsel. That's why I'm so big in health right now. I just I couldn't see myself being at So watch my first superhero and my second superhero is my cousin Kevin Ford. When I watched him go to jail for twenty five years under sixteen years old, crush me. He jick out of jail. He did twenty six years. It's my older cousin. When I see shit like this, bread crush mean. So to see guys like that, I'm good man. Fus you mentioned health. You started farming, how's it going and what are you growing on your farm? Uh? This year, I haven't did a lot on the farm cause there's a lot that I wanted to bring to it. Those people are yo, we wanna do TV shows farming in this and I had to cross all of them, like listen, y'all, I'm not doing this for like credibility, right the farm out guy, it's it's more, it's more peace built. We don't swall the animals on this right, okay. We don't smoke weed on this farm. We don't drink lickor on this farm. It's small of a yogi kind of thing. It's more of a peace it's man, I'm telling you that was one of the best niggers after my life to touch earth and see what earth coming back and tell you and for me, bro, A lot of people like, oh, but I love who you are today. I'm like, look, my nigga, I'm not trying to act like it feel good if you it stopped you from eating indulging in a lot of food because you see the process of how the food gotta grow. Right. I was taught you don't pull nothing out of earth unless you I asked to take it out of earth. Kneed you put it back in. So that's I love that part of our farming. Man. So you you your badge, You so your badgar from the from the garden to the table. Yeah, may why not? Why not? So you don't eat you don't know you no longer eat meat? Who you y'all about to day? I eat it and I'm about to daddy. Next year is over. I'm a cold turkey guy. I gotta go back to it because that eat I learned. Man, I tried it right. Yeah, you eat things that's dead, You'll always have dead ideas in your mind when you eat clean and with life to watch the watch, the watch how bright your ideas get like they're they're fucking the depression stuff. It don't exist, and that error, and then it created a work called vegan. I don't like that, right, I don't like people calling it so vegans because it to me, it stops you from growing mentally. It stops you from learning what you're eating. So I would come, I'm a conscious eater, right, I'm conscious of what it is. I'm a conscious drink. I'm a conscious everything. I just want conscious and knowledge of what I'm doing. That's it. I watch a shit you a guy watched if you teld me I should rock your Bronco jersey. Right, let's keep it pipper. You see what I'm saying. So it's guys like you that we get to watch it. Be like, damn, I watching the end of your career right now, really do shit you should have been doing in your thirties. Let's call church on that. Right, you see what I'm saying. But I'm watching that o G. I'm like, damn, he really showing us what you're supposed to be doing and standing on business right and That's why I'm at in life. I feel like people want me to keep doing music on King. I'm thirty six years old, right, my daughter is seventeen. Like, I can't talk about Ben and y'all open and doing this, baby I got I'm grown like my daughter. Friends might be looking at me to do this. Right, How weird is that? Right? Like you see what I'm saying. I just can't be that god man, right, I want to be forty and fifty. I can't fucking wait. I'm looking forward to being old. Right, You and I would talking about Carol, You're talking about you like, man, you're you're a pretty big dude. They're like yeah, but today You're like, I'm gonna get it right you, I'm tired of have it? You say you got mister frog boy looking like waded to pull what I think the fans if no bb and you ain't doing no work, You ain't doing no nothing cosmetic bb it, Man, what's the funk? I would? Man, I'm I'm gonna tell you someone's the craziest shit. It gets to the point, but nigga, you walk by a mirror, you'd be like like, yeah, who fuck? That is like and then for the T shirt, asked me, like, I want I'm tired of I'm tired of jumping to sw I was just telling about my cousin. I'm like, y'a, I'm tired of going to swimming pool with the T shirt coat walk up. But I get that shit without a little tea shirt. She I want to v live. I can't wait to get it. So my new goal, man, it's just has like how much how much time do you giving yourself? Six months a year? Who is your birthday? May thirty, first birth thirty five? You got five months? No, I'm going before that. After this week when I get home. Yeah, I'm going on a fourteen day clans okay, with straight herbs and water. After I eliminate the fat and the toxics in my body, I'm going straight to working out. Right immediately, I'm probably I'm dead in all the meat. The what's what's the end goal? How much? I mean how much you wait? Now? What you try to get down to? Two ninety seven? Two ninety seven? You tek my height though? Right? What you try to get down to I'm gonna jump. I'm gonna probably bounced down like two fifty five, two fifty five. You're gonna be Diesel truck is you're cut throw up, I'm underwing model. You gonna cut on like news man man's Ben's health back and league. But I'm like this you want to cover anyway? But walking trimming though? You trimming? Young man? Is you talking about? Bro baby? You talk about you talk about a lot of your businesses, the rap thing. He's like, I'm I'm done with the rap. I'm just not a good rap, right, And I'm saying if I had good better for us, right, Yo, sure, I'll be right there. It take too much time to do a song, right, I'm just I can fuck that. Sorry, I can't do eight nine, ten hours in the studio that I got a little I got little brothers and cousins. I'm my art I got artists, right, it's not you. Let them have that head. They man, they the truth. So I need to move out of the way. Let them do it. So you so your your business is now? What what do you? What's what's your business? What do you? What are you produd of? You got a trucking cup me? You gotta meet packing you. I tried truck and I did that. It's fun. Airbnb Yeah, I can't do airbnbs. I cannot deal with my fuck's sucking my property up and going behind you and then like, oh you walk me tripping. You know what if I ain't got time for that. Uh. Even so, when it comes like real estate and stuff, I never wanted to be the guy to how all the houses. I tried that, and it bothered me. To take advantage of people that didn't understand real estate to buy your house cheap and and sell it for more and celebrate while you still stuck in the same spot. Right, that bothered me. I'm not saying it. People are wronger right for it. So what I wanted to do is come from my higher perspective. I actually want a guy named Don Don Jacob's good brother and alm right the truth so I learned a lot from I'd rather come from a perspective where I could create a house that all everybody could be in. Right, and I rather eat. I rather if I made a hundred slices of pizza. I'm cool with heat and a slice of pizza and this pie, this pie, this pie, I eat a hundred a hundred uh circles. I got me a hundred slices now, in a hundred different ways to eat. So I wanted to come from a bigger perspective and not be on a ground with people that actually need it more than me. I read that you lost a lot of money in your rap career. Oh hell, how yo? But did you blow did you blow it? Did somebody to take advantage of you? Oh? One thing I never did was blow money? Okay, let's get that. Okay, but your my accountant showed me like, yo, Walker, you know, like seventy percent of your money you give it away. I'm like, what are you talking about. She's like, yo, you the money you make, seventy percent of it, you give it to people. I'm like, what the fuck? She was showing me like hosting five thousand haad of this person, this person, this person, this person. And I literally was living all thirty percent of my career. That's crazy. So you you you gave damn there a lot of your money away. I ain't give it away. That's all God told me to do, right, I didn't need it. That shuit ain't break me? Right? Why I probably? Yeah, I made a lot of mistakes. You made a lot of mistakes, financial mistakes. So what lessons did you learn. Oh Jesus everything everything. I'm sure tax attorney you got man. I I could be the tax attorney like I'm actually about to go to school to learn there right now, I don't I account is this ship that'shit little? You are really quick books, you're account If you could work quick books, you really could do your thing to be honest. But my account right now, he the truth. He from Egypt. My boy sold Yeah. So could he got to straight? Oh boy, he ain't no joke. He's straight, he's straight. Square business. I read I read that you slept, you sleeping at a hotel. I piedmart with your wife and daughter, and you got a rose ross in the Bidley park outside. Yeah, my face, I still got that. But that's my favorite. I called my old school. It's a fourth old flying Spur. That's my old school. Yeah yeah, but cream black black, Matt Black? So why why the hell are you sleeping in the hotel? I had to get out the house housing. I couldn't get in a house. My credit was sucked up. I couldn't have enough. I was just just get well, get out the bedley. What do you need to what do you need? A billy at the rose Ross at the hotel for shit. I had a good room. I spend like the de'st the mentality. Right, you edited the walled off a store. You were out in the fourth season the President just sleep. I wanted to be a little more dunk though I was looking for a house at the time. Right, I was in the motherfucker nine months. Yeah, the whole you look in the hotel. The hotel remodeled after I got out of it. Hey, I hope, like, yeah, that's from about thirty twenty five, a whole new hotel. Yeah. Now we're going like, hey, walk up the walking floor. Yeah. So now, rap career, business career. If you were to sit down with aspying rappers or guys somebody that was in the rap game and said, man, walk, I said, how you made a clean break from it. You're not rapping anymore. You got all this going on the business. What what what? What how do you say? What's the seminar? Oh? They all different, they all know too, yo. Sure, I'm telling I'm on they bumping. They were looking at me like, man, gonna walk. Man, they've been having that faith like break here, I'm for to give it to your brother. Right. But the most all, it just depends where they are. I always get him the game though something listen, some don't and they come at year It's like like eight big brother, he was right, man, I should have And I'm like, nigga, you know now, let's let's get it lay. We can't talk about what you should have done. Let's talk about what you need. They should tap in though, right. I ain't gonna come to them, but they should tap in. Right. I meet him in the middle. How did this real? I don't want to know how the reality face started? How do you get how do you how do you come to the how do you say? How do they come to you and say? Ay walk and take this out? We got this idea. We think you ought to be on hip hop. You look right tacky, but I want you wild walking you. Yeah, I wanted it because I know how. I know how low level and low vibrating people could be some time. Right, So I knew if I get on TV the that nigga broke you know what I'm saying, Yeah, they wouldn't think of me doing junior stuff. Then on another hand, I'm like, shit, my ex wife now my wife at the time, excuse me, I'm like, shit, she can have a girl, she could fuck around to be big it in me I'm not and I was awesome, like retired stuff. I'm like, I need to learn business. Right then my daughter had a platform, like I ain't think my dog's gonna be on TV. She can't stand that shit, right, But I'm just like, shit, my my wife at the time, she be lit right, like what if she start bringing in an extra couple of million? That shit? I helped it, you see, know what I'm saying. So and that's what I wanted it for, that's all. And I wasn't fra getting on television. I didn't give it. Damn do you think did that? Is that one of the reasons why you and your wife divorced Because a lot of time when you you know, you see, you see when you open yourself up to reality TV and you let everybody see your end the working it a lot of times it ends up bad. It's me. It was you. I was just younger though, I just it was me man. Whoever she said how she felt, but as a man, it's always gonna be me. How's the I mean, you got a wife, you raised him a child, but now under the specter of the pub. I mean, there are a lot of people that have wife and kids, but it's not in the public side. Yeah, but that's see, that's the thing. It's tough, right. I was a brother, a son, a husband, a father yeah, A CEO, yeah, a chairman of company. Pay attention to my career's protect my my my freedom, my life. An't think a new business ideas. That's ten things. Eleven. I gotta learn how to protect it. Twelve. I gotta know what's going on. I'm like, fuck it. It was. It was a lot to handle, and nobody understood how how something was gonna fall short. But then it got to a point in my career where it was like, yo, Boka, like you enough is enough, man, you gotta like let go. And I just got to a point where I was like, I can't handle that shit. It's oh, I'm tired of living for everybody else. And I got tired to see him, my my, my wife just live live with this umbrella over hood. You know what I'm saying. I'm like, Yo, be free, my nigga, Like I love you to die. You like, whatever you go through in life, I'm still gonna help that I'm dear, It's nothing like that's my dog, right, you know what, I'm one of my best friends. Like, so it's just it's just it gets to a point where you're like, damn, yo, you choose too much. I ain't feel at nothing. It was just a lot I just wanted to help everybody, Like I just see a lot of people don't have to kind of drive out head. And I'm not trying to hold it over you, but fucking I guess God did it for me to do it so you can learn from it. And I learned in that process you're pushing people. You can be pushing them to their death. A lot of people don't can't afford to be pushed, right, They had to edge in their life, right. So I had to learn that as well. A lot of mistakes I made. I didn't want people to walk down certain avenues because I was afraid they wouldn't make it out how I did. So I had a lot of them like, it's something else just so they ain't gotta do that, right, you know what I'm saying. So it's just a lot of shit that went on in the middle of bro, You've had you had a very inspiring story. To see where you came from, to see the mentality that you had, to see where you are now in the transformation that you've gone through, is nothing short of a miracle. We congratulations on all your success. Thank you stop, thankful stopping by with Homie oh Way. All my life, in all my life, sacrifice and Hustle Bay the Price, Want a slice? Got the rolling dice?
