I could never rock the shirt like. Let's just swag like I'm too thick. That ain't for the head.

That's what.

Rosy wear shirts like that though ross out of the pocket the pants to match.

I was broken up with the.

Toot right my dog young, not your young tig.

How you are man, and I'm cooling, man, We got one of my own boys old now making me feel old. But yeah, I got my guy in the building. I got these by the door. I ain't gonna I got these out here. Shout out to feature man. They hooked me up, so it's all good.

I see you got the Pacers colorway. It's up.

Yeah, you know what I would you know how I rock. I'm still a Pacer at heart. Nah, I'm a hawking. I ain't gonna lie, but I rocked the Pacers to temper one to talking back. Yeah, I'm sorry. We love y'all. It's a hometown episode on the road.

We on a neutral sideway to man, we got a passes legend going on ten year event holding it down in the city. Mr Miles Turner, appreciate you sliding on this big dog.

Absolutely. Man.

I always show up to the net Man by way of Texas, you know, going on my tenth season, and uh man, I grew up there, but I've been in I was a teenager, so that's always loved.

With you man, for real.

For show Man, we always tried to show up talking about some kicks. You know, you are Kobe a fishingado man before the wave was popular with some of your favorite Kobe's the hoop Man. Some of the reverse granches that came out this year was tough to me because everybody had the obsession with the Grench Prince discerence man. But then when they finally got some of my sides and eighteen. You know I had to jump on that right away. So then it's cool D. Yeah you got a chuck in eighteen. That's crazy.

Man's got a plug, shut out man. But uh yeah, then them Bruce Lee joints was fired too. I was in them for a minute of them Kobe as I'm wearing the same Kobe's the past three seasons.

Bro, you can fact check that you.

Want the people definitely had the c Man. I'm gonna say, you know you in a Big three with the Bruce Lee.

Five on it? Yeah, I look, well, no, I don't get.

But now I love the Kobe too. I rock with the Kobes. But I remember you used to wear Kd's too.

Yeah yeah.

Coming out of Texas, KD was obviously one of my favorite players and whatnot. They was the most comfortable because we have like a similar like foot like type or whatever, so they had engineered to fit his foot and it feel pretty good.

But just started rocking with the Kobe. Man, this is the most comfortable fact for show Man. We're gonna start with the orders. Obviously, you know you went crazy in high school and you know, so you want the people who kind of started to trend to like the late commit to school.

What made you commit to Texas?

There was a lot of reasons, man, I really growing up and people always tell me all the time. I didn't know if it wasn't like, you know, take a fence and out they say, you're a Duke guy. You know, you're just like a Duke guy. So I took that a rams. I said, Oh, I want to go do it. I want to go to Duke. But then actually being a Texas kid and uh, thinking about like all the branding and everything that comes with it afterwards has really moved a needle for me.

You know, my mom told me Lily day before I commit.

Just listen, I'm not gonna tell you what to do, but if you have to think about yourself, You're only gonna be there for a year.

You're a Texas kid.

Everybody knows what this means, that the richest school in the world, Like, you know, just you know, consider everything, and it's really had its benefits for me.

Real for sure.

Listen, I'm say, I'm sure you got a little bit of love. What the nil situation in Texas?

You might have stayed a couple of years.

Boy, how much money you think you would have got a textas I was the number two pick coming into our number two uh player in high school, you know, coming into us, so that obviously had a lot to do with it. You can easily get like five mil bro, God, I think I think easy bro with the way you know, a little yeah, they show a little love meet the table love.

But you know, like a arch man and it ain't even playing, you know what I'm saying? Like that checked, my boy Mill would have been filthy in school.

I wonder if nil was opened up and like in high school for Texas like early, because I know some some places.

Kelly, Yeah, some places it is.

But when you played with a Texas select, yeah, I was decent. You would have it. Probably broke a bag off for sure.

Yeah, that's a That was my coming out party because I missed, uh that soft More summer.

You know that's the big recruit summow.

I broke my ankle and I missed the entire summer, so I came back on the scene that summer.

I went crazy. I remember you played for them, bro, Yeah, filthy shure man.

Look we all Naptown babysitter. How was it your first town church time? Touching down and that, you know.

It was different for me because Dallas is so fast paced and it's coming from where I've come from, and then you get some more kind of blue collar, like hardworking city like Indie. You know, I just didn't know what to expect right but like immediately as soon as I touched round Bro, it was love. Like. I mean, it's such a basketball state, as y'all know, I had never I've obviously seen the movies and I heard about it, but actually being there, you know, going down to au going to Butler, like seeing like that college basketball atmosphere, like it changed a lot of stuff for me. So I definitely don't love it right away. Man, it was the perfect situation for me. I didn't need to be anywhere else. I needed a slow pace, like a city for me just to grow up in as opposed to a fast pace like Miami, La.

You know whatever.

It was just splittery, an ideal situation. Boy, you're good. You got drafted to the Heat. I got drafted to Atlanta. They threw me in the fire. I ain't been the same thing. I can't say you play around too much. I don't start clarified that mouse just said something. It was like that was my coming out party. I was like, man, I was going with that Rod, I'm chilling. I'm chilling, that be rocking back.

I had this good speech. You know, I ruined it.

Bro. That's fine, man, you're right, You're right. Now. Did you see the corn fields when you were flying in?

Though I definite drove out to him, I ain't never really just like I guess I was paying attention. But it do look crazy like nowadays, like looking over just knowing, like the weird little like alien ship they be talking about with it, talking about the conspiracies and ship.

I don't know. I'll be on tiktoking, might go back to the eight.

I don't know about that different down there.

It's all love with your boy.

Hey man, I got talking to the first time I'll meet man y'all. As a Patiss fan, y'all was one of the mostality and rosters that pissed me off as a Patiss fan. I still love y'all, true, but ch'all had to fucked up. But I understand why I want to hear y'all first interaction.

Man.

Now, so I knew Miles from Andy Miller. Okay, so when I came in.

Jr.

And Miles had kind of already knew each other, so he introduced us, and I was I was taken back because we started scrimmaging, hooping. I'm like, damn, this motherfucking do everything. And I didn't know, like you know, I'm like, damn, he coul drive, we could shoot, y'all bounced like what the hell. I was like, I he the best player on the team. Like to me, I'm not gonna be the best player. So I just I'm a point guard. I go to the big man. I started talking to him like, are we gonna do this picking roll? Like We're gonna pick and roll to death? And that's just kind of how we built our relationship.

Oh yeah, bro, that's just like that, bro, because like like and stood a lot of confidence in me. Bro, Like my first I guess, my my year, my second year. I saw these past years, my first like real like great great year, rookie years on my feet west second year, I really started to come out. But yeah, bro, I just I didn't really know what my game was at the time. Like I knew what I was good at, but I was still trying to kind of trying to fit the mold of the NBA game as opposed to making people fit around me. And we had that picking popship going, bro, Yeah for so quick, like getting downhill, like the defender had to make a decision, so chemistry just like it was like road.

Right away, Noah, for sure.

That's why when I see you play now, like how y'all play spread on the floor, I'm like, damn.

If Nate would have.

Just let that first game now he got like thirty five against you had the facts man, I was like, I was like, Nah, hes gonna be cold.

I got you one.

Nah, I knew I said cold. I remember him and Cat was very similar. I was like, damn when I first seen himhen I first seen Cam, Like, Yo, Miles playing very very similar. You just got more freedom, Cat, I'm like, Miles ain't got the freedom you got, but they very similar.

Fight.

With that, my whole career finally started to get It's a more confident myself in my game, Bro. I mean, I've going on your team, just kind of reflecting like I just if I would have had that confidence been earlier, you know, directed my creal to have been different. But I don't make mistakes man, like I'm just happy work. Chris still very brother, Bro.

Have you always played out on the perimeter though, or.

Yeah, for the most part.

Even in high school, I stressed the floor quite a bit, but I would say that I really started doing it more like my second and third season. I don't real shoot no threes my rookie year, my first ever nationaltigue. I remember that ship. We were playing Atlanta. It was the first time I got my first start and it was against them, and I had a really unorthodox shot my first couple of years, like in the post, like I knew it wasn't strong enough about shoot exactly is but it's like literally just jump and turn around and shoot.

And I remember I had it.

I was on our horforit and I hit that niggas he was like, man, hell no.

You don't want to. It was a confidence.

Turn around, so we I remember that Bro was like, you post up and he don't even look. He just turned the shoot. But he was taller than everybody. So that was what I got away with. In college.

Like I knew it wasn't like physically stronger than but like I was quick and like I had good anticipation, So I'll be on that right block. And I mean I'm not a Scout report yet, like a bottom of Scout reporting, so no one really knows what I do. So yeah, that was my go to shot, like I'm just gonna catch it, just jump and turn and shoot off the glass.

And that's his shot.

That was his shot for rebody to say, hell, no, it's definitely gonna be here.

I still jokeer Bro to this day, teaching McConnell, like, I showed a love of TJ.

Bro. We came in the same draft the TJ.

Now.

Yeah, but I remember Bro. I think he was a Philly At the time we was playing him. He was warming enough to.

Look down and say, Bro, I don't like that. I hate him. I was like, what what he doing? Like what?

And to this day, Bro, I'll be I'll be fucking with TJ. Bro because I'll be trying to get his head a little bit and he brings it up that show like all the time, Bro, why does he like me?

I'm I'm a fan. Really, I think he cold.

Now I'll be like, damn, I watched him coming because we played in Philly.

He's to come in, you know, do what he do? Now. I used to be like how the funk is he in the NBA?

Like I used to say that all the time, but now seeing him grow as the players, like, nah, he deserves fifteen million a year in the NBA. Like so, I'm a fan of his game, especially how y'all guys play together.

The stories you have told him this podcast. You ain't never shared that one. We thank you for that.

Man. I'm the good guy. Man, I'm the good guy. Bro.

They gotta changing the arrative now, so we're doing that. We're doing the pot rankers again, all the pot rankers. I don't know you.

They got to take some time off. I'm climbing for sure, have to be at least the start. I thank you. I think you might be in the war, right, I'm climbing here right.

Well, he a good teammate though, mouse Hell yeah, bro, And I say that all sincerity, like he's like one of the best bets I've had because I aciate real shipro because when I was first coming in, I didn't.

I don't think I had like the best bets, you know what I mean.

There was a couple that showed love, but a lot of it was on some hating ship in my opinion, and when he came in right away like he didn't care to bro, nigga, go bust the ass.

Bro, No, get to your spots.

Like do this, do that, and then even off the court, bro, bro, you want to go to dinner a bro, you want to do this like I ain't really had a lot of vests that like treated me like that and you always show love.

So yeah, that's he's like, definitely one of the best bets. I appreciate that love, especially being in that you ain't taking them something set No, I ain't, I ain't, ain't. I ain't listening. I wasn't trying to ruin, you know, trying to make sure you get the bag right.

For sure.

We got you know, the Naptown. You gotta get the Trimmors. You gotta get the sunset a couple of places. I was too young for this, get trimmers.

Ready for tremors ship, I wasn't ready for someone just talking about sunset the other day. I don't talk about have you been in there? I have never set footing. I go to lungs all the time. I knew what people was talking about.

You ain't missing nothing that talking about your gang. Go there, we're gonna get information.

You got you gotta go to sun Sat, saying when they open, that's a great night man, whatever.

The sun set, not that couple a little extra not but listen, man, all my paces ship, we went crazy this year. Everybody was hating. It didn't matter. We did what then we were supposed to do. How was it to have a season like we had this year? You know what I'm saying. Last couple years, Little Rocky, a couple of changes, we got Toye's going crazy. You were crazy this year. I think I don't know, I won't be too political, but I don't go no more. I think that one of the best things that happened for you in our situation is that we ended up making a decision in between us and Bonus. And the one thing as a Pizer fan I hate it was that I felt like y'all were so talented, but them having y'all together for so long kind of hinter both of y'all's game.

And I'm happy that, you know what I'm saying.

We got a chance to really show how good you were with the system, and then we got a point guard to actually like t the way ty Reeves played very similar distribute the ball, get people, they spots.

I was so happy the success we had last year with this team.

Man, how was it? You know what I'm saying? Bounce back like that? Oh it was amazing.

Bro, It's I mean, being here for ten years, I feel like you feel like you can say like I've seen it all, but I really truly feel like I've just seen everything and more. But I came in playing a five, and I knew I had ability to stretch the floor. And I remember all season but you remember Bano, Bro, Bro, that's my dog for really. We worked out all summer in the post and then even had Kevin mckel come in and we worked out a couple of times now and I get the training camp and was like, hey, great work the summer.

We're gonna put you out the four.

So I had never really like I knew I can shoot, but I Bro, I never really just like played basketball then in high school.

I don't how to cut.

I didn't know when to time up, like spacing like like even this five man like five man out.

I know, I play five outs.

So I'm literally sitting here guessing the entire time for at least half a season. And then you know, the two three season, I played with Domos like I wasn't even shooting as well as I positive could because I knew I was on to shoot the ball like five six times a game, and I was pissed, Like I think everybody around me like knew that. So if the ball toaped my hands, like fuck it, it's going up, I'm not looking like it's just going up, so that I'm not shooting my best. I'm not shooting confident, and honestly, I hate it showing off for work, bro, Like I just it felt like a job, like I was just I wasn't in the best space mentally. But then, bro, all I asked for was I needed a guard to give me the ball and I want to play the five, and the places came through and I was able just to put my full talents on display Man. And yeah, this season was special because you know the end season tournament here like that was what got some eyes already just at that visibility. But being able to take that all season long and just up the antie and that just like crushed everybody expectations and like beating your favorite team like that shit felt good, bro, for real, Just like this to love you guy and yeah, man, the playoffs, Like I was so used to just going home, you know what I mean, four or five months and the time off. But it was a different are around the city, Bro, different energy like it was locked in.

Bro, it was a vibe, it.

Was cray, it was we was hating.

Yeah, I had no walk.

We was true.

I walk.

No I have BOSJ DJ stood down on yall.

For him. What's my favorite card for it?

The motherfuckers don't watch us play ever, Bro, They watched us play and we did our thing this year.

Love that for us. I did have Milwaukee though, I want to chip five times. That bitch was musty. Oh my god.

Milwaukee series is fun because of all the answer ship that happened during the scene. Yeah, they just you know, you know the NBA is Bro, they just created this. Uh, I don't know this story behind there.

Tried to steal my man basketball Bro.

Man, we didn't even like that.

What's up with that weekend ship? Mouth?

What boys wan? The real story many probably wasn't the story.

It made for a really great series that was some good that series of what we went by the way shout some league basically we heard you. I want to know like, how was it in that game where Chris Milton hit that shot off the backboard, Like what was y'all thinking, Like a ship that's about.

Trust this nigga is a second coming, Like he wasn't missing, bro.

It was the craziest ship because like we're like that nigga injured, bro, Like you know he he's over there like hobbling.

Bro. He just got to his spots and was like just a killer bro.

Some to wasn't talking no ship like just literally just got into his bad It was masterful, bro. Honestly, like just like watching him afar, like like at the time you pissed, but then you go back and it's like, damn, this just just a fishing bro. So it was so bro, like we just in't we were fighting, fighting fighting. He hit that shot as almost like a gut punch. Bro's like you gotta go to overtime. But yeah, man ship at the end of the day with its cool. Yeah, the hell of a hell of a run.

Uh. That was that Knick series. Like we always make fun of me and being we like, oh they beat everybody that was hurt. Yeah, but that's that's how I want a championship. Everybody got hurt for sure, big top.

Yeah, so it happens like that, But what was that feeling like playing in the garden like happened to win in New York? It was special for me, man, because you know my dad, he's from New York, Okay, shots box, he's from Queens, and he had aspirations of you know, playing and love obviously, but uh, you know, God had different plans and you know, for him to be able to be there and wait and sit with like all his childhood friends and that's fire, same same ship.

He was on the whole.

I told you so, Like I told you, my sons were like, you know, just happy for him, bro, really popping ship in the city, so that it was a good moment.

Man.

I just you know, like you said, injuries are not but that's what the playoffs is about. It's just that's part of it, taking care of yourself. And yeah, we got it done.

And listen, I told him I didn't give a funk about them injuries. We had years of our best one or two player was hurt for at least four to five years.

It, Bro, I don't want to hear no excuses whatever.

Oh, I just wanted to ask though, how is it playing with Pascal Man kind of teammates. He Man, that was a great addition for y'all.

For real, Bro, he just he just keep out his business, Bro, And that's why I respect him like another extra ship. Like he get in, he get his work, and he go home.

Man.

That's what I feel like in Indianapolis. It's like what you like. He embodies all that and his skill sets is crazy. Bro, face up game, he get downhill, versat defender like he was like the missing piece more star power, bro, because like that's all it is in this league too. Bro's that the eyes and the attraction is star power like side of things. And you know, now we feel like we you know, we missed out a lot of free agents a lot of times.

And that was a big gift for us. Yeah for sure.

I mean speaking free agents as downloaded back up. You know what I'm saying. Everybody come back to the East. We got a little bit more competition. But I'm missige Frus next year because I feel like our key additions are people we didn't get to play much or it was hurt last year.

We got Benny did coming back.

We all get right to it and I'm very excited to see jars Walker getting in this next year and very excited to see jars Man.

How's he been in practice? Man?

He a dog bro jareds He's the He's one to do and can do everything like real like Draymond type of career, like kind of get guys open. I mean, if he really really needs to get a bucket, he can like face off Iso. But Jared's got a lot of He's got vision and that's what I feel like people haven't been able to see him yet. Same thing versus defender as well. But he just needs his opportunity. It's tough when you come in this league and you got like you're playing behind all stars, playing behind facts, you know, season vetsing. But it has to wait his turn, like it's a it's kind of unfortunate. But you know, we talked to him all the time. We try to keep his confidence going. But you know how it is into this ship like it's just a you know, he's got to keep putting your time, that's all this is. You know he's gonna go out here to Knight's on the bus ass already know he is, you know, to leave the team.

I gotta ask you on some paces.

Shit, what was the better atmosphere or it was a crazy game that that Milwaukee gamble the Game three or Game seven in the Garden.

I mean it's I'll say it was louder in Indie, but the atmosphere was. I think it was a little bit dope in New York just because of what it was like you in the Mecca, Bro, Yeah, it's a Game seven. Every single celebrity you can think of it as their court side, like everybody talking ship like It's just it was just that environment. Yeah, that's what you dream of. Yeah, exactly. So I can't I can't take nothing away from that. But I will say, like now, this year was like the loudest I've heard it, Like even the n season tournament games, like the color courts, and.

They showed up for them. Everybody was coming out for them games. I ain't gonna lie. You played with some great guards. Ty Reese is a special player. Yeah, what is it like playing with him?

Man?

His vision, the way you play looks like he's having so much fun. Look, your team is having so much fun. I see like y'all starting to like you and him are the leaders of the team, and you can see that it's starting to like run through the whole team, like you just like you're playing with a lot of joy.

What's like playing with him? Yeah? Bro, he's got infectious spirit.

Like I think he's someone who he really he plays better and he's in a better state when he knows he get everybody else. Yeah, you know, he gonna get to his side, step Hen, get down the heal if he needs to. But he really wants to pass the ball, get people going. Just takes the attention off him. So I've always played with like Scort Purs, Scort first Cars. You know, I came in, I was with UH with George Hill. Yeah, and he's a he's kind of assistant player, but he really wanted to get to it he could.

And then I had you and I had.

Malcolm Darren Collinson, Malcolm Brock like yeah, DC killer too, BOYD. See it was all like Scort First Cards, but tyres like he really really want to get people involved, and you can do you feel that, you know what I mean? And when it's time to let him do his thing, it's like okay, all I bet like you know you got it? Yeah, bro, he just got a he got one of them personalities that it's just easy to be around, like in the locker room morale, love and like that.

Yeah, it's dope. I love seeing what he was saying. That was like, why did they pick him? I'm just like, what do you mean? They picked the person who averaged the most assistant the NBA. They playing with the team, but somebode who needs to distribute the ball. That's why I said, people don't watch us, but it's cool.

That's what he's gonna get, real to it.

I like them hard too. Oh yeah, you're a dog, but I like you first. But I like you because ship. It was his time to shot. He said, fuck it, I'm going for the port guy.

I like that.

The only gonna have. It's gonna be tough to keep him. Yeah, he's gonna get some money. Man, it's gonna be tough. I know who was getting some money next year too. Oh yeah, right, bring that truck loading ups.

Gonna put my work in do I gotta do? And then uh yeah, let the forward John take porter.

But if you've been no miles this year to take the over baby contract year man?

And I always I wanted to ask you because you're one of the best defenders in the league. Like, how does it feel like when you see like no shape the rudio bearing guys like that, but they get Defensive Player of the Year three or four times.

It's like you feel away. It used to really fuck me, bro.

I used to really fucking me, like my first couple of years, because it's everybody in your ear. You feel like, Bro, Like I think my third season, like I out blocked in the tower.

I had more blocks Coleete mccavalery's team, that's right.

And what they always told me was like, oh, well you don't rebound, And I was like, all right, you know, I'll take that on the chin.

Cool.

But I feel like defense is more than just defensive rebounder. Like I'm leading at the time. You know, you know dB was, but at the time I'm leading like a like a number two defense in the league.

And you know where we have a decent.

Record, and but bro, we don't play on TV, like you said, we didn't get very far in the playoffs, so no exposure. So it's like they have to justify who they get this award to. And it became like a popularity contest. And that's when I kind of bowed out. Bro, I'd rather get respect from my peers than you know, this this trophy, you know what I mean. Like, of course I still would want to, like you know, push for that grind flan in the future, but it took the sting out of before me when I realized, you know, it's a business, bro, Like you know what I mean, Like you know people are gonna like to dive into that and say what they need to say, but it's just real, bro, Like whoever has the most eyes, whoever has the best defensive metrics and shit like that.

Like we just talked about the metrics too. I don't even think it defensive play ever won. I mean so far as a big with our average and at least tea in a game rebound.

But the craziest shit about Rudy is no saying to Rudy, you're defense play of the year, but now I call you liabilities in the playoffs, so like, make it makes sense you can't be the best player of the year and you're Christmas in the switch and is like a We're gonna live with it like that. It's like you said, it's a lot to play into that more than just what it is happening on the course.

So the numbers games gets tough, brother, and you are, like I said, if you really a hoop head and you and you ended this like you know, who's a good defender, you know, like who you're not going at like you know just in the back of your head, like when you plan a ship. But if they get this award to somebody, and in the playoffs, you can expose that, like you can talk about and if he may be great at this but.

Not so great at this, and yeah we're going at that show. You know.

That's what when guys like like Marcus Smart wins, it's like I tell my capsh like that because he's really a dog and he switched one through four really guard everybody. And yeah, but in Rudy's case, like, bro, like I give respect to him because like when you're playing us on the playoffs, you know you're not going down here, no in fact, but in the switch situations, yeah, everybody brings him out and it exposes him and whatnot, so he dow his job.

But it's just it's an overall war for sure.

And even like Withdrew, like, bro, that's somebody who should have a couple on the shelf.

Bro, Yeah, for sure, who should have a couple of everybody in this league knows. Yeah, that's a given. Bro.

Was that the first thing you was good at though growing up when you start hooping was blocking shots?

Yeah?

Bro, that was really it was only the only thing. Like when I was a kid, like I wasn't really coordinated like that. I just started I started to get more of a jumper in middle school when my dad saw it, like at a young age and was like.

No, we could do something with this. Uh man.

I mean I give love to him, bro, because like I really wasn't committed to basketball like that, but I love baseball.

Baseball was like my first love. Ain't no way been playing.

I was outside, but you were snagging My strike zone was too big and the white boy start throwing that heat.

Bro, Like yeah it's not Christians.

Another way, But but nah, Bro, I started taking it more serious, like really after I broke my ankle like in high school, and yeah, started to It starts hard to pan out for me, but no, Bro, just like being multifaceted, like just everything I do. Basketball is obviously like my professional what I'm good at, but it's just opened doors for me and don't posific avenues.

That's what I preach it.

Like, oh, like I guess when the young guys coming in, it's like, don't make this the only thing you're good at, bro, It's just a key at the end of the day, just unlock like hell of doors for you.

And they be trying to bosh you in a lot And I like it now that like everybody has an avenue to show their personality with the light.

It don't matter what you fuck with what you do.

Like with you, I know you go crazy with the legos you can't like, but it's just like why the funk I mad at me what I like to do? I saw the work like, But I mean that's people fear what they don't know, or people like feel that they don't understand, you know what I mean.

So it's easy to sit there like, oh lengo nerd. But at the end of the day, bro, now you just you can't. You can't do this. It's too intricate for you, you know what I mean. I can't do that much. Yeah, And the fact that you can't do it, and it's fun to like kind of laugh and joke because it's other people that it's fall.

Like, oh yeah, you know what I mean.

But that's why I do it too, bro, Like I really try to stay take the sting out that word.

Bro. You hear the word nerd.

It's such a negative connotation towards it, but man, you just looked it up. It's just someone that's passionate about something.

At the end of the day. His bas Plenty of basketball nerds.

Out there, especially, I just try to I tried to put it on for like those guys like those were like my friends in school or whatnot, you know what I mean. They didn't have the abilities that I had or even the social skills that you know that we had, So I just tried to put on for them.

Man, for sure.

Listen, you got a lot of crazy highlights. What's some of your favorite highlights. It's my favorite highlights. You caught a lot of bodies. I can plenty them that ship.

Uh.

I think one of my one of my favorite highlights I ever had was we were playing Boston and UH in the UH in the first round, like my fourth year maybe, and I got Gordon Hayward like something crazy like I pump fake, I went downhill was able to them off too. And like that kind of put me on the map a little bit more too. It's just like, well, it's like, oh ship, Like I ain't know he had that, you know, and that was a good one. I Gotst Thompson my second year in the playoffs t T. I was off a rebound or whether I came up and just he was talking a ship. So I got love to he was just talking that shit that series and that just like felt good. You remember that series though, of coorse so do Bro.

When we was up thirty Broyes at the bro we was hyping hand going to the locker room. Bro Bron told us he walked out at half court. Remember I was walking in, he said, were good y'all. I looked like fucking that shit started going down like they're about to be third quarter. We don we were fifteen and the third I'm like, were about to lose, y'all?

We losing it? What happened for real though, Bro? They were just better than us.

Brother, I mean, but what males and we heard his son. Look, can I hear your side, Bro, because it may be different like what you think?

I think that's just bro.

Second year, like we had all the tools, but we didn't have the chemistry, bro, for sure.

Let's just be let's be real.

Yeah, we we had so much talent on that roster, but like they doesn't really fuck with each other.

Bro.

It just was what it was. And you can tell and you can always tell, like on the court.

And I think that was like a big thing for the front office even like now it's like we want to bring in guys that we know are gonna mesh you know what I mean. We got to go to the side, like there's just that's what made us so good this year. Like there was just no ego, you know, well this hoop, But at that time, it was just a lot of ego and a lot of you know, who's the man this? And it was tough, bro. So I think when we got into the playoffs, we didn't really have no flow, bro, like zero, We were just relying on talent at the end of the day.

And you know, there in the playoffs that should don't work.

And Cleveland was a better team bro that they had all their role players, Like shit, Kyrie was still there. She woun't even have Kyle Korver, like they had plenty of guys. Richard Jefferson team j R. Smith like guys that knew what they do the role, whereas we were trying to like force all role for sure. Yeah so bad. I thought I finally was gonna be broad. I was hyping that was over with. Yeah, that's crazy. How much chemistry really matters outside of the business. If you look at the team, how many people was either in that contract here or near a contract year, and it's just like, yeah, it gotta be a team, but I gotta get paid.

Yeah, I don't got to get these stats up. That was that was my contract year.

I remember he got a thing bro Like Bro. I remember the ship.

Anytime he would get scored on, you know, Bro, we're breaking off like he's going like he's just fucking going, Nigga the pleasure everything flopping ship.

Bro, And we all know that. I was like.

Paper taped to that boy here.

That's just my competitive Like somebody scoring me, I just couldn't like, I'm like ya, I gotta get them back.

That was just me. We saw last week in the big through that's me, like you scoring, I.

Need the ball back, like one on one, come on, I need the ball back. But I grew out of that man when I retired. He was part of the chemistry up I was. I was because I'm the point guard, so I got to bring everybody together. I didn't do a good job of that, Like I always tell y'all, I should have been way better at that. Like I talked to Miles, I talked to that CJ but everybody glean. But other than that, I ain't really talking nobody like PG and like uh, I ain't really talk to him like that. And they was two of the guys who had the ball too. So it was just a bad blend at that time for sure.

Man.

But listen, we're back on the map, patients going crazy. I don't go fuck about nobody else's free agent pickups. We're still in the East going crazy. They still got to come to games and see what's up with it. I can't wait for us to go crazy getting this season.

Man, you'll be here. What's up?

I'm talking ship today with Easter spungell do well soon Bucks.

Who else we build it? We experienced Miles.

Listen, it ain't even just because you're here, bro, you twenty eight. Bro, I've been hating on the patas even before you were starting. You wouldn't even think Pop is still doing his stuff.

You know it's not.

But y'all a better team though, I'll be giving DJ Hill all the time. You know what I'm saying. But now do y'all are a good team for sure?

Bro, No one lost and had no playoff experience, and this is perfect for you know everybody's now you just build.

You have momentum for sure.

But I'm being honest. I still got Boston ship the champ. Respect Milwaukee. I'm a die hard Milwaukee. I don't know why. But Philly, Bro, my boy dang coming back healthy, y'all. You and I got y'all over Philly. I't even I don't like Philly.

Oh. I like.

I like the players that come back in there Bro pg code, but I just don't have.

To tap into his mind star Space Jam.

But I just don't like they always. I don't know, I don't like it. Team.

I need to see chemistry work. I got to see it happen. I need to see it happened. I got ya because you'll do got the perfect chemistry. Pascal gonna have a full year with y'all. Yeah, I like that, and you already got that experience.

I like that.

But in the Knicks. I'm excited to see y'all in the Knick, y'all. That's my four right there.

Yeah, that's right. They got they got they got my loader. But but it makes it fun, bro.

Yeah.

And then my Hawks, Oh jesus, we didn't rebuild.

Think his house got a chance against y'all.

Man rebuild defense, bro, That's that's the biggest thing that the Hawks. They talented offensively, We rebuilding.

We got number one pick for Yeah, we got number one Petrayer Man, get about it, letter man. I'm surprised they traded up Desohnte.

I really was.

I know he probably has more value probably, Yeah, thought I didn't know what he was talking about. They talk about him going to San Antonio or trade whatever. BacT to Santonio has been crazy.

Yeah. Nah, they got Chris Paul, so that is definitely not.

I gotta real quick. I know we're joking and ship, but do you think y'all are missing a piece? Like what do you think that y'all can bring, not necessarily a player, but like something that somebody can add to help y'all get over that hump that y'all are right now.

I think when we got to be better rebounds, Bro, we're the work. We're still kind of small, Okay. We just got wise Men, so that that helps a bit, you know what I mean. He's like seven to one, but we were like a big team. I mean outside of me. Isaiah Jackson was six nine, Jayalen Smith at the time with six six, so I mean, just to have a more front corn presence and put off the bench and uh just vets Bro. I mean, I'm like, me and TJ were probably the oldest suits on the team now outside of you know JJ when when he was signed, but J in the vets Bro.

Listen, Man, I was gigged by Wise Man. I was like, there's any team that will help him, it would be us. You know what I'm saying. You've been a mentor for him and the worst place and places part for them. Man to get back on track and do what he's supposed to do. Listen, Man, getim out of here.

Miles.

We appreciate you, sliding man. You know his Naptown Pacers. We're getting fucking done this year. I don't want to hear no more Nick No Nick's talking about DMS. We reach y'all as Game seven at the crib.

Our full pats outfit bro and the bandana.

The white lady black in the way to the forces.

I'll get some yellow forces with the white laddy. Yeah, and I get you know, I got somebody that they're right on shoes and ship. I get math on some real ship for my old heads back in the day. I'm a water pacer shirt with no shirt under. The jersey with no shirt under.

And on that note, get here his uniform. That's a bad body language jersey out of pocket.
