Plus, Katie Giede is among a group of Conyers Waffle House employees who have joined a strike led by the Union of Southern Service Workers. The workers are calling for the Department of Labor to investigate the company’s “meal credit” policy, which takes $3 from each worker's shift - even if they don't eat a meal.
