Laura Davis was just two academic quarters short of a psychology degree when she had to drop everything and flee her home country of Venezuela. She could only carry one small suitcase through the Colombia border, crossing into an uncertain future. Now, she is a 2024 graduate of Georgia Gwinnett College.
