"What was she wearing?" "Why was she out alone at night?" "How much did she drink?" How many times do we have to hear these repeated for us to realise that victims are not to be blamed for the tragedy that befell them? What do we have to do for society to practise more empathy and realise the crux of the issue starts from the perpetrators themselves?
