Wik your calls and text on the item your partner wants to get rid of? After my wife said, when are you selling your drum kit?
The Logi nominations are out, Who's going to win the Gold?
Bara talked about two oscars having a bad weekend, the Eagles in the Formula.
One, Todd Johnston and Peace Love. Yeah, absolutely fantastic.
Yeah.
Talking about our gig at Pinocchio, Yeah, which Megnahausper came on Friday night, which is wonderful.
It was so much fun and I think everybody there had a great time from the minute they walked in.
They did. And everyone want to tell a story, which is really hard when there's a band playing or a DJ plan really loudly. I started losing my voice after about twenty minutes to chatting. But people, you know, I want a dollar for everyone who said where's Lisa. He's over there, pointing in some random direction. It did get very very full.
Did get very very full.
The Pinocchios is that house?
It was, it was you know, you really hosted us well Todd John for the night.
Isn't Todd the perfect front man for a band like that? One of the tightest bands in per because if veteran players these blokes.
And he does an age, No, he.
Does it the way he's Benjamin Button. Yeah. Yeah, the pup Crawl has been a lot of fun again this time. Second time.
It's been so much fun. Let's hope that. You know, I don't want to get to ahead of myself, but let's do that at Pinocchio's again.
You know how many people ask me that on Friday night, I've got to do this again?
This is an annual event. Well, let's see.
We've already started getting messages and someone said it to me at the Foota in the weekend. They said, I've got tickets but I couldn't make it and can you do it again? Can you do it again?
You know?
People very keen.
Can I tell you there was you know, we were talking about primary school recently. Someone on which to primary school with was there on Friday night. It was so good to see her. Hello, Stephanie, and just it was really great meeting everyone, right, Yeah.
Very good. I also had a woman who said to me three times I'm Lisa in that voice, and I went, she's over there. She went, no, batman, I'm Lisa. So good morning Lisa and everyone else who was there having a good time.
Hey.
The guy who asked me how I was sleeping and I went yeah, He goes, how are you sleeping clarzy and I went, yeah, good way you ask me that. He goes well with my job, my Fifi job. That's one of my KPIs. He gets asked every every week by his management how he's sleeping because he's handling heavy equipment. It was really quite random. Thanks. People talk to you about a yes.
So there's a lot of people that we communicate with quite regularly with on our test line and it was great to meet you all. You know who you are, Paul and Barry and yeah, it was good. John. John's really really nice to put a face.
And I'll tell you what, I don't know if you could have fit in too many more people into that room. But the qu down Murray Street was unrere, wasn't it great?
It was.
It was really really thanks for your support of the Big Night and of course they're like couple of weeks of the Yeah first time crawl as well. We look for the next time.
Cats is coming back. It's coming to the Crown Theater from November eight. Tickets are on sale now through Katsthmusical dot com dot au and he's in it, Todd McKenny.
Good money, meow meow.
Wow.
It is the fortieth anniversary of this absolute classic from Andrew Lloyd Webber. Weren't you in the very first Australian run.
I was in the first Melbourne one. So I did it thirty seven years ago. It played, it played two years in Sydney. It was a big, huge smash hit and then when I moved to Melbourne. Yes, I got a gersey. I was going to like a guernsey nice. Yeah, and did it. So it's great to come back after so many years to revisit it full sir.
You're just a kitten, mate.
Yeah, I was the acrobatic I was the acrobatic kitten in the first season. I can assure you I'm not now. I played the geriatric, broken down cat.
In this You actually play two roles don't you I do.
I play I play the aristocratic fat cat buster for Jones in the first act and the second act, I played the old Gus. They call him Asparagus his name is. And I played here's the old Seat, a cat who used to sit at stage door and regale his stories of him in the show.
Talk about there's no need for like this time titled will there be something?
No, there's too much, don't even drop. We call it the I call it the l words.
Yeah, that's what it is.
Keep you honest in the lead up to it, that's for sure.
Will get me hungry because they hadn't eaten him in four weeks. You it's my own fault, though, because I'm one of those one of those drivers who goes ah, those cyclists, those men of a certain age, get him off the run on that guy, and now it's bitten me. It's bitten me on the bum. I like.
Those padded ones. I reckon Cats because we, I mean, we do love musical theater in this country. But I reckon Cats was what set us on the path, wouldn't you say?
Yeah, Cats was like the first blockbuster mega musical that ran for years and yeah, you know and in London a ran for twenty two years. So yeah, it was the first. It was the first one of those mega musicals. And then after that we had Leamirs and Phantom of the Opera and all those ones. But Cats really sort of changed the landscape of musical theater.
In the world. Yeah, in your incredible career, have you ever met Andrew Lloyd Webber?
No, I haven't. Oh wow, maybe he'll come out to see my sella performance, like epectually, he could be could be Gus, maybe it could be my understudy of course.
Yeah, just to throw a sicky, just to get the star in the I love it, love it.
I have to ask, what is your favorite song in the show? Do you have a favorite song in the show?
Well, my two songs, of course, I mean that's the obvious. Well apart from that, well, I mean I get to sit on stage in front of Gabrielle, the lady who's singing that iconic song Memory that everybody knows, and I get to literally sit at her feet while she sings that. And that's a bit of a thrill because she's got one of the biggest voices I've ever heard. And so yeah, so that's probably my favorite, and it's the crowd favorite too, and it's it's heartbreaking when you see it in the story of the show. It's not just a standalone piece. It's a heartbreaking part of the storytelling and it's yeah, it'll bring.
The house down, Yeah, Gabrielle Thomas, I mean Rotten Lisa's Bullpark because she's done the sound of music, amongst the other things in her career. To you, we often say one of our favorite Perth people from from throughout the years. But you and I almost were almost twins because you were born in a month before me and sixty five. So therefore this a certain birthday happened for you recently and one coming for me soon. Did you celebrate big time or did you home?
I went, I meant for three weeks. That's the way to do that's the way to do it.
Yeah.
Well it was great, yeah, because I had some people wanted to throw party and I said yes, and then I decided to split that into two and then I ended up having a dinner and then I had another one, like just last Sunday I had the third one. So it was the wrong time having endless three course dinners. Though when I'm about to get into that. Well, I didn't think this through.
The festival, the festal of the turd, I like that.
But you know what, let it drag out as long as possible, is my and just don't ever say no gifts.
That's really gift.
No gifts? What was I thinking?
Gift?
We are actually a couple of mad cat people in the studio. Do you have any cats yourself?
No?
I don't actually trust cats. Had but yeah, I grew up. I've had two cats throughout my life, and I just I just didn't trust them. I could be, you know, minding my own business, walking down the hallway and then it comes flying out from behind something and all of a sudden, I'm bleeding. Yeah, what happened?
Yeah, it's me. Every second day you have the slightest distrust of cats, they will they will zone in on you, and you will be the one that they will.
Yeah, you wake up in the.
Morning, I wearing you wake up in the morning and you're wearing one of the hat on your bed and you're like.
No, Yeah, my wife made the mistake of calling your cat angel and she used the demon for about fifteen minutes a day, So I know exactly what you're talking about.
Well, I can't believe it's the fortieth anniversary tour and I'm thrilled to bits that you're coming to town for it. CATS is on at the Crown Theater from November eight. Tickets are on sale now through cats to musical dot com. Dott are you thanks for joining us, Tom to catch up.
Man, thanks for inviting me. I'll see you there.
Yeah, well do thanks, thank you. There's sure report on ninety six airm.

So you've got three people that were in that show Territory on Netflix nominated Michael Dorman, Robert Taylor, Sam call it. They're up against Sam Neil in the twelve. I know where my where my preference lives. I've seen all of those. I just love Sam Neil in the twelve. The Silver Logi for the Lead Actress in a Drama. A couple of the girls that were in Apple Side of Vinegar on Netflix. That was that Bell what's her name?
Sort of Oh, yes, yes, you know.
The cancer liar. Adam Torf is nominated, but she's nominated for Territory, not for the Newsreader, which is interesting. I mean, she's she's she's always good, so I still think that she's going to win whatever. She's nominated for Silver LOGI for the Best Lead Actor in the Comedy. Aaron chen In Fisk is up against Ben Miller and Michael Theo in Austin to Austin's and also Patrick Brammle from Colin from Accounts. I still haven't got around and people are questioning me saying, why have you not got your head around Colin from Accounts yet? Because it's brilliant. The best Drama program is going to be a fight between Bump, Heartbreak, High, Return to Paradise Territory, The news Reader and the twelve The news Reader for me, Our best Mini series or telemovie is going to be Apple Cider, Vinegar versus Critical Incident, Fake, How to Make Gravy, Human Error and Plum and I would love to see Plum wins because Plum It's on the ABC. They joined David Beckham as newly minted serves.
Very nice, A bunch of achievers, high achiever of Gary Oldman, brilliant you even go way back, yeah, Anty, just all of it so good.

Hello morning, Lease morning, clearsy and very foggy out there today, so drive safely. It's clearing up, though I think it was a bit foggy. Add op to stadium as well when the Dockers game was on in that last quarter, ge got close, got really thrilling.
Probably should mention.
The people that did the the big freeze to Peter Rosethorn.
Yesterday.
I didn't seen him do et. Have you seen him?
Lease, you've never seen him do et? So that I used to do it on saur Day all the time.
His shirt. He looked like he's doing that. He actually killed.
It, So I can't believe you've never seen him.
I googled it last night. I watched about fifty occasions where he's done it.
He does it for us when he comes in here, does he? Yeah, he's the best fans.
Big shout out to him and Rick Harden as Ricks.
Was Batman's not the a command.
Look, so the doc has got up. Were you worried clericy in the last quarter?
Of course, of course because North played so well the week before. He gets eagles in the last term. Yeah, it was pretty tight.
It's thrilling climax, wasn't It has Josh Tracy taking the mate mate.
That was what a great moment. So what happened?
He went back to the back line following his man, Josh Tracy because he's forward and he outmarked Jack Darling Old Jack.
His job. One job is bring the ball to the ground. He got out marked by the bloke.
He was just pushing back and then he kicked it out in the full that's right, which she probably was a great game another chance.
It's a great spoiler as well by Luke.
Ryan And I thought the guy that everyone's getting behind now is the cult hero Patrick Voss.
I don't know if you've seen him.
List they've got the unicorn at the Dockers and now they've got the prancing pony with.
The big chests.
He's had the worst nicknames. Have a listen, So this is him talking about how he got his nickname.
It's just I don't really think that much. Yeah, when I when I kicking a girl, I tend I tend to take off. Jamie Graham, the Ford's coach calls me the prance and Pony, So I tend to I tend to hit on my high speed when I when after I kick a goal.
It's exciting.
Sounds like you should be at Alcabella Blanco.
And Delusion football.
It's not the best nickname, honest, but the prancing Pony could be the Prancing horse.
Yeah, but he kicked three, it was yeah, so well done to the Doccas.
Yeah, it looks like JJ spawn has just won the US Golf Open as well, So Adams School will get to that that happened now, No, he just lost lost the plot ate over today.
Now the Eagles, Harley reads, he'll have to.
Survive an incident from last night which is a bit of a looked like a bit of his through his arm back.
I reckon he'll be okay.
Yeah, yeah, Harley, Oscar Allen got carried off basically helped off. But it looks like a plantaris injury, which we used to call tennis league. Yeah, back the back of your sort of back of your calf is a muscle there and he can get torn.
So it could be eight weeks, so it could be season over.
So non achilles.
Yeah, different sort of thing, so better, better than an achille.
Yeah, terrible, shocking first quarter though, Jeez, Andrew McWalter coming off the ground, actually used the P word. He said pathetic. We were pathetic in the contest. So you don't hear that very often. The P word doesn't get used a lot and it doesn't get thrown around Willy Nelly. So the boys had to fight back. Tom McCarthy made a brilliant taboo. That was his first ever game for the Eagles. Tom McCarthy he had the most possessions ever by a debutante at the West Coast Eagles.
Incredible. He wasn't fullback as well.
Yeah, thirty they must, they must count the kickings. Well, yeah, it doesn't matter. Thirty one possession of him. So better than Couzy and Curry and Juddy and Boots and all the boys. He used to be a former, he's a former Cole's assistant manager and now he's in the AFL. Had thirty one touches and this is what he had to say about his first game.
So much fun. Yeah, I know we lost, but that was probably the most fun I've ever had. The boys are so well well welcoming to me and made the game really easy, so we're not really easy, but it was a tough game. But yeah, so much fun and I really really enjoyed it. We're thrown in amongst the walls. You do the kickings as well.
Yeah, imagine when he wins a game, he's going to.
Be even more fun, like a red light special.
He won't know himself.
Daniel Laidley gave him ten out of ten on the web today ten out of ten and Ruben Jimmie.
Yeah, Barrow. There was a whole lot more going on the weekend so.
Much the Test Championship Final the Aussies. It looked a bit like the Dad's Army, Manas and Usman and we just couldn't get it done. We got pumped in the end by South Africa, so we lost. So the best Test nation in the world is South Africa, the Proteas. And I reckon Usman and Marnas and that poor Smithy Smith.
He broke his finger.
He looked really about his little finger was like snapped, you could see the bone point.
Sorry, trying to take a cat.
Sorry, I breakfast apologizing that.
Yeah, so it wasn't a great game for us. The South African quick Robata he destroyed us. But he was suspended from the IPL for a month after taking cocaine. Right, and he thought he was going to get sledged by the Aussies for you know, his snow holiday as they called it. But they didn't sledge him. But he was so fired up because he thought he was going to get sledged he tore from That's what he said. I was ready for it, but he didn't do it anyway. That's just a bit of an insight into the mentality of sports people least. Yes, And as we mentioned the US Open Golf JJ spawns just one, it was the toughest course of all time. At one stage there was nobody underpath. That's how tough the course was.
And you know what, I loved it.
Weekend hackers like me, you go down to roy Wembley and just hit it in the bush and stuff. They were doing the same things, three parting missing, three foot oh made.
It was brilliant.
One bloke shot eighty six in round one and eighty nine in round two.
He was thirty five over.
Okay, crickets cool, brilliant, it's just where's my ball?
Rory was smashing his club. He stormed off, actually got a bit of rory audio. This rory he's saying mckelroy, he just won the Masters, one of the bigger, best golfers in the world, talking about why he was so peeved off.
No, not really, it's more of frustration with you guys.
The media blaming the media. Could you do that again? It never listen.
Who's to blame for him not playing well? Is he frustrated?
No, not really, It's more of frustration with you guys.
He doesn't give it a continental ended up a mile down.
I know he shot it made over today, So poor bugger, he's gone a nightmare quickly.
West ended up nine over and over.
To add another one where we were.
Talking Royal Wembley.
Wouldn't happen to me at Royal Wembley.
A bit more for the course.
What about Oscar Oscar? Yeah?
What the Formula one Canadian Grand Prix, so they're basically crashed into each other and the mclarence. So Lando drove up the back of Oscar.
McLaren from your teammate.
Yeah, that's three hundred k's thanks a lot.
George Russell won the race.
I wanted to mention the fever is red hot better than white hot, Which one was better?
White hot? Red?
Maybe white the fever.
They're white hot.
At the moment, the Green eight straight wins, sensational be playing finals again and can I just be indulging in Cheerio to the Waffle w Champ. First ever win for the club, historic first win in the first season, never been done before, unprecedented singing the song.
Jes saidinary did.
They know the worst of the song, but they were they were partying those.
I've never sung it before. There'll be a bit of coaching, but so good. And cheerio to the lady who won the car at on Mega I was interviewing and she said, I've just sold my card of paying my daughter's school fees.
And it was getting the train to the airport to take him an hour to get.
To work, and never had a new car.
That is so good.
That count was cryings. He didn't say anything, but he just.
Lost more Cley, more podcasts soon.
At wouldn't you live with someone else? There are sometimes there are rooms in the house where one of the year partner, or your roommates or your housemates don't go to Okay, and at our place, Lurry does go to my end, my office every now and then. But she every time she goes in there, she goes, you know, i'd completely rearrange this room. She would completely she goes, I would completely re arrange this room.
Has she got her own room, yeah she has, she can arrange.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, because I rarely go into that room. However, after her visit to the room the other day and she went up there as a TV set up and she was watching a bit of TV. So she had all these great plans for rearranging the room, which we're never going to come to fruition because it's your room. Yeah yeah, it's got by a junk you know, to your office. Yeah yeah, you've got it set up as an office.
You do.
Got my yeah, I got them my junk in there, you know, my music and books and stuff like that. Anyway, so her a great.
Idea tragic music box.
Tragic music box is in there. It takes up a lot of room in the corner and in the other corner, the far corner is my my drum kit, which I get on to have a bit of a silly bash every there. As I say to you, worst drummer in Australia, possibly on the planet.
Everyone should have a dream, so much fun.
Put the headphones on and you're going to put on some Fooies or ACDC have a whack. Anyway. So Laura, well she was a good drummer, Carrot. She was underestimated, Dramma Carrack verter, not just the voice, you had it all. So Laurie's words to me were, so, I've just been into your office and I could rearrange the whole thing. I said, stop talking right now. She said, I'm not going to stop talking. Of what one more thing to say? I say, okay, get off your chest. She goes, so what are you selling your drum kit? I never see you on it? And I went and I said, you know that even if I spend ten minutes a week on that thing and get a bit of joy, get some frustration out and have fun. And even if it sounds thereile, no one else hears it because I'm not turning the amplifier on, It's in my headphones. There is no way I'm selling the drum kit. And you get about a quarter of maybe a third or a fifth of what have you paid for it on my place. Yeah, that thing is staying. But it made me think about the thing that your partner wants you to get rid of. That's why I thought we'd go to the text in the phone line.
I reckon it's often an item of clothing. Yeah, And I reckon there'd be many a case of an item of clothing going out to the charity, yeah, and then coming back in, like you know, going out ready for the pickup, and then someone goes out and rummages around and pulls it out and takes it back in.
It's like, I've always hated that shit?
How is that still here? That jacket?
It just keeps coming and got nine lives to mate who had a pair of powdered blue pants, and they kept going out into the semi s thing and then coming back back here. But I think it became a joke after a while.
Yeah, we're asking what your partner's trying to get rid of. Melody and Woodridge said, I want to throw out my husband's rusty old bass guitar. Really, yeah, Sam and Swanpa who said I kept our wedding cake wrapped in glad wrapped for twenty five years. Hervey was always on my case to get rid of it. I eventually got rid of it about two years ago. Apart from the glad rappid discolored, the cake was in good condition.
No, no, we wasn't.
It came to get into it though, in case it exploded in a cloud of dust. People hang onto their wedding cake for a long time. They say, yeah, it's a wedding cake.
Yeah, absolutely, When it was.
You know, solid fruit, yeah, when it was fruitcake, which is meant to last river mad cake.
And quite off the cake list a lot longer than a relationship. Sadly came I John, Hello.
John, Oh there you go.
Yeah, good mate, thanks for coming back. It was good fun. What do you go for us?
It was okay. So basically my part wants to sell it. Throw out my twenty year old football team football jacket that I used to play right after twenty odd years. She wanted me to throw it out and I said, yeah, no, no, it's all happened. But because one of the readers too, was that checker or Is, reminded me of who my coach was, which was Luigi from the w A.
Oh you save the money any coach went on fancy actually football football.
Wow, such a funny man he really is with those ads. He's so funny.
That's great.
That's that I think that I'll be taking up too much room.
Yeah, all right, hold strong, John, hold strong, thanks mate. There's all kinds of messages covering Spider Good.
People didn't know Luigi was a foot soccer coach, soccer coach, football coach. I would say, they're calling it soccer.
That's all right.
People then know exactly what cod we're talking about. Love to hear from you this morning. The text line is going off zero four seven six ninety six ninety six ninety six.
Yes, Craig and Singleton. It probably is time for your holy and is to go Hello, Hello, good more you got for us?
Yeah?
Okay. So my daughter comes and goes and I purchased some really dawty set of it's like a candle holder and it's made from crystal marble, bass and brass and it's got sixteen crystals hanging off each one of them. So I wanted to get them to do a craft sort of thing with them. But they're really I don't know, they're from the eighteenth century or something. I've got them from the Fremantle based management shop and they're extremely daughty. They stand about a foot high or just over and they're double teared, and yeah, I can't part with them because they catch the light the sun in the afternoon and throw crystals all around the lund room.
Getting rid of those they sound awesome.
Yeah, I'll take if I don't send them throughything else. Yeah, I could relate to the story about, you know, as sending close to the shop and then going back and then actually retrieving.
I've done that.
With one item. And another thing that comes to mind is a friend of mine. He's a pistman and she's somewhere in these stubby shorts. It's got a big whip in them and exposing you know, yes, pacious also whatever, and we're always telling him to get rid of them.
But yeah, oh dear, we'll wear them around the house.
Yeah, when the tackle becomes early later.
It's thanks, rubby shorts with no jocks underneath.
The morning.
Thanks, that's too much. Then, you know, you see that, and then the crystals we shine a light on them.
I think that is a good thing.
Pretty funny Jocks ninety six FM, Clecy and Lisa
