Despite being the longest animated film ever made in America, Across the Spider-Verse has been collecting cash across the box office-verse, with both critics and audiences agreeing that this is a sight of a comic book movie to behold. But what do the Cinemaholics think? We start the show with a brief rundown of the movie's backstory, then swing into a spoiler-free review. After a delayed release and somewhat botched streaming strategy with the last film, Warner Bros. gave the sci-fi epic another chance to spice up the box office. But does Dune: Part Two fulfill the prophecy of that last film and Frank Herbert's 1965 novel?

Dune: Part Two opened in theaters on March 1. It was directed by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaights.
