Paul Loeffler, besides being the Voice of Fresno State Athletics, is the Host of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. He joined the program from Washington D.C. moments before he went back into the "arena" for the competition to continue. In the first of two parts, Paul pulls the curtain a bit on how the 100-year competition has evolved. What began with 9 people competing in 1925 is now more than 200 in 2025 and it's not slowing down!
