A new era begins for Fresno State women's basketball with the hiring of head coach, Ryan McCarthy. McCarthy comes to Fresno from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. He joins the program for two segments along with two of his players, Emilia Long and Avery Watkins. In this first segment we discuss a lot of "Why's." Why he took the job, why Emilia chose to transfer in and why Avery chose to stay with the program after a coaching change. Also, expectations for a program that has not been to the NCAA Tournament since the 2013-14 season and much more.
