Every year the Leukemia Lymphoma Society has a Student Visionaries of the Year competition. This year Clovis West Team Eagles members Cadence Gabriel and Viviana Villa stopped by to discuss this year's fundraising efforts and events. Cadence was the team lead in 2024, this year it's Vivi.

Cadence Gabriel, Viviana Villa: LLS Student Visionaries of the Year

Fresno Christian award-winning U.S. history teacher Kori James (also an adviser for the student-led award-winning publication The Feather Online) and talented student and photojournalist Selah Neal return to the program. March is Women's History Month. Instead of tracking down someone with a national profile and marquee name for these segments, CG wanted to celebrate several local women who are highly accomplished. Enter Kori and Selah. Both have done, and continue to do, remarkable things inside and outside the Fresno Christian classrooms in the areas of teaching, journalism and photojournalism. They are indeed marquee names in their own right.

He's won 798 games, a national championship, two state championships in multiple states... the list of accomplishments goes on and on. He joined CG to talk about their recent regional final loss to Archbishop Mitty, how/why he's been so successful and what it means to him being someone who has helped shape the futures of so many young women over his 32 years of coaching.
