Ben Ross is a Bay Area play-by-play broadcaster, sports anchor/host and a writer. Ben's been a regular guest on The CGP since 2017. In the first of two segments, he digs into the San Francisco Giants and new manager Tony Vitello. Vitello came to the Giants from the Tennessee Volunteers, a program he built into a national powerhouse and College World Series Champion. It's the first time a college coach has made the jump directly to MLB from college.

Trembley also gets into the pros and perils of coaching tenures in this new era of NIL and the transfer portal, and how a smaller but highly successful basketball program like the Gaels continues to compete versus larger, better-funded P4 schools.
