In a wide-ranging conversation, Stephen offers insights into why men's head basketball coach Randy Bennett, 25 years at SMC, chose to leave and accept the same position at Arizona State. Trembley also gets into the pros and perils of coaching tenures in this new era of NIL and the transfer portal, and how a smaller but highly successful basketball program like the Gaels continues to compete versus larger, better-funded P4 schools.
