A new study revealed it costs around $50,000 to have a pet (like a dog or cat) over their lifetime - just for the basics. Vet costs jumped 43% in the last 5 years leaving more than 1/3 of pet owners in debt. Bilal asked Montrealers how much they've dropped in one visit - you won't believe how far some folks went to save their fur babies!
