While writing the Van Halen album, 1984, Eddie Van Halen was more influenced by Peter Gabriel than anyone else. But for one of the album's songs, he drew inspiration from AC/DC. In fact, in a 2020 interview, he confessed that he was trying to emulate the beat of a popular AC/DC hit from that era. Randy Renaud has that story on today's episode of But Did You Know.
