Dedicated to meeting the mental health needs of racialized youth, YouThrive is a new program offered by the Youth Wellness Centre of St. Joseph`s Healthcare Hamilton in partnership with Thrive Child and Youth Trauma Services and Hamilton Regional Indian Centre. Providing peer support and culturally adapted care, YouThrive will help Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC) in dealing with issues specific to racially marginalized youth.

Boots on the Ground, is a not-for-profit organization that offers third party peer mental health support by First Responders for First Responders all over Ontario.
Boots has seen the demand for its services spike recently with March being one of the busiest months ever for the 24-hour helpline it runs. Boots is expanding its services to include nurses as well, who have been hit hard by the pandemic.

Troy Wagner, who is a member of the Hamilton Professional Fire Fighters Association (HPFFA) - Local 288, made his 50th blood donation to Canadian Blood Services. Troy made this donation during the annual Sirens for Life blood donor campaign in which firefighters, police and paramedics participate in a friendly competition to see who can recruit the most donors.
