Richard talks to Princeton Professor Kim Lane Scheppele about autocracy, Hungary under Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and how Trump-aligned Republicans have been using his "illiberal democracy" as a model for governance in the United States.
"When people vote for dictators," Scheppele explained, "usually they don't know they're voting for dictators or they don't believe that they're voting for dictators, so just like this last American election, where people were like, 'Well, yeah, Trump may have some autocratic tendencies, but the price of eggs.'"
