Richard is joined by Dr. Shay O’Mara, M.D., clinical vice president of surgery at OhioHealth Clinical Enterprise, and Mary Zost, vice president and campaign director with the Ad Council.  

They discussed the alarming rise of gun violence as the leading cause of death in children under 17 and emphasized the need for nonpolitical conversations to address this issue. The Ad Council's new campaign aims to unite health systems and communities to prevent gun violence through education, dialogue, and safe storage practices.
