– Jane Kirtley, professor of Media Ethics and Law at the University of Minnesota and former executive director of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press
– Gloria J. Browne-Marshall, professor, writer, activist, playwright, and author of the book “A Protest History of the United States”; she is also the founder of Martyrs Day, a national day of remembrance established to honor the protesters and activists who lost their lives fighting for civil rights, social justice, and equality in the United States; the inaugural observance of Martyrs Day is Sunday, July 5.
