Cyrus King is the vocalist, guitarist, and producer of This Be The Verse. In 2003, he saw Deftones at Wembley in London. At the end of the show, Chino tossed his guitar into the crowd. Cyrus took it home.

Chris Enriquez is the drummer for Spotlights. He joined the band in the middle of their tour with Deftones and Refused. He's also interviewed Deftones for Revolver and has had a number of unique experiences with the band.
