Colwood Mayor Doug Kobayashi joined CFAX after winning re-election by a wide margin, thanking residents for their trust and support. Kobayashi says his focus for the next four years will be managing growth responsibly, controlling spending and engaging the public more directly in decisions about the city's priorities. While noting Colwood is already exceeding its housing targets, he says the challenge ahead will be paying for the infrastructure needed to support that growth, adding that residents can expect more transparency and public input along the way.
