BC Hydro’s spokesperson, Ted Olynyk joined Josh & Jade with an update on the Old Island Highway work in View Royal — repairs are paused, the eastbound lane is reopening, and repaving happens Friday with single‑alternating traffic. 
He also reminded drivers to slow down through the gravel‑filled area until paving is complete.
