Saanich Mayor-elect Rishi Sharma joined CFAX following his election victory, calling the community's strong voter turnout the biggest highlight of the night. Sharma said the record participation showed residents are engaged and want their voices heard. Looking ahead, he says one of his first priorities will be creating more opportunities for public dialogue, including an open house with Saanich's newly elected council. Sharma thanked voters, volunteers and supporters, saying the campaign was built on community engagement and a commitment to listening.
