Josh & Jade are joined by Sooke Mayor Maja Tait, who says projected increases in E-Comm emergency communications fees could add the equivalent of another six per cent to property taxes if no alternative funding solution is found. Tait discusses the new funding model, the search for alternative revenue sources, and why municipalities say the rising cost of essential services is outpacing the property tax system.
