Nanaimo’s Mayor Leonard Krog joined Josh & Jade this afternoon to talk about a big step for the city and the Snuneymuxw First Nation. The City is looking at changing its boundaries to include Snuneymuxw reserve lands — which would mean people living there could vote in Nanaimo’s municipal elections for the first time. Mayor Krog explains what this could mean for the community, local representation, and the 2026 election.
