He has worked in banking in the Tampa Bay region for nearly 30 years, from the private sector to various roles at banks including AmSouth/Regions Bank; USAmeriBank; Northern Trust; Signature Bank; and Clearwater-based Flagship Bank. Signature, earlier in his career, is where he got his first taste of true local banking, running its Clearwater division.
As a West Point grad, he served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Finance Corps.
