June is recognized as Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, and joining the program this morning to discuss this and what they are doing to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and funds for research are Jeannie Zappe, A competitive swimmer, swim coach, along with being an Alzheimer's advocate, Beth Battaglino, a certified registered nurse and CEO of HealthyWomen, and Kerry Dennis, who’s living with Alzheimer’s disease.  Then Susan Shanske, MSW, LICSW, Director and Transitional Care Support with BRIDGES Adult Transition Program joins the program to discuss what all teenagers need to know about managing their healthcare as they transition into adulthood.
