Coach Key is now preaching the Finnish concept of “sisu.” to his team.  

“Extraordinary determination, courage and resoluteness in the face of extreme adversity,” is how Tech coach Brent Key explained sisu, his latest way to try to motivate his team.

 “An action mindset which enables individuals to reach beyond their present limitations, take action beyond all odds and transform barriers and frontiers. An integral element of the Finnish culture and also a universal capacity which we all share.”
